Things You Need to Know About the Movie 'DEALOVA' (2024), Comes with a Different Version!

Besides EIFFEL I'M IN LOVE and AADC, DEALOVA is also one of the films that was loved by many people in the 2000s. Not only that, DEALOVA is also one of the famous films of that era. The proof is that DEALOVA is returning to the big screen with its latest version which will be released on February 22, 2024.  

DEALOVA 2024 is not a sequel, but a spin-off. Looking at it from the story perspective, it is quite difficult to develop the story of Kara and her problems in DEALOVA 2005. Therefore, a spin-off seems to be a more appropriate choice for DEALOVA 2024.    

DEALOVA 2024 has a synopsis that is not much different from its first film. Both of them tell a story about a love triangle. If in the first film it discusses a love triangle between Kara, Ibel, and Dira, in this latest version it will show a love triangle story between Libby, Abi, and Tama.  

Some sequels are usually directed by the same director. But that didn't happen in DEALOVA. In 2005, this film was directed by a director named Dian W. Sasmita, while the latest version was directed by Ray Nayoan.  

DEALOVA 2005 has 3 main actors, namely Jessica Iskandar, Ben Joshua, and Evan Sanders. Meanwhile, in the latest version, the main actors are played by Givina Lukita, Harris Vriza, and Pradikta Wicaksono. In both the old and new versions, the three of them will play characters who will experience a love triangle.  

DEALOVA 2024 is produced by Flix Pictures. The production house Flix Pictures may still be unfamiliar to us. However, this production house has been making films since 1981, including films such as IRA MAYA CINDERELLA (1981), DEALOVA (2005), OPTATISSIMUS (2013), and now DEALOVA (2024).  

DEALOVA 2005 reminds us of basketball. Therefore, DEALOVA 2024 also brings back basketball as the main storyline. Characters Tama and Libby will depict basketball enthusiasts.
