AQUAMAN AND THE LOST KINGDOM can finally be watched in theaters on December 21, 2023, as a year-end holiday treat. Did you know that previously, during the production of this film, it had to undergo reshoots three times?

James Wan (director) faced a challenging journey in bringing this sequel to life, resulting in constant rescheduling. Three reshoots were done to meet the expectations of the audience, as well as the producers and the studio. 

Now, AQUAMAN AND THE LOST KINGDOM will come with a bigger scale story and a rematch between Aquaman and Black Manta. As we know, in the first film, Black Manta was defeated by the superhero of Atlantis descent. Check out some scene photos below as a sneak peek of the excitement of the film.

Aquaman is now ruling in Atlantis with the Trident of King Atlan. He lives in two worlds, on land he lives like an ordinary human while in the ocean he is its ruler.

Arthur Curry a.k.a. Aquaman is a great but also funny character in his daily life. This characteristic is still visible in this second film.

Black Manta still holds a deep grudge for the death of his father at the hands of Aquaman. This time he comes with serious power. From the released trailer, Black Manta has a mysterious Black Trident that is believed to be connected to the dark history of Atlantis.

There will be a rematch between Aquaman and Black Manta. A unique and brave choice by James Wan to not introduce a new villain in a superhero film.

Not only from the same villain character. Aquaman's allies in this second film are also the same, namely Ocean Master. This character has appeared in the previous film as an evil character. He is Aquaman's brother and also the crown prince of Atlantis.

Together with Aquaman, Ocean Master will defend the integrity of Atlantis and other Ocean Kingdoms. From the trailer alone, the audience is already spoiled with the appearance of Atlantis technology that has never been shown in previous films.
