Netflix has announced that the live-action adaptation of 'YU YU HAKUSHO', a supernatural detective anime originally aired in the early 90s, will be released on December 14, 2023. This live-action version of the manga and anime, written by Yoshihiro Togashi and animated by Studio Pierrot, was announced since October and its trailer was released during Geeked Week 2023 from November 6 to 12. The plot of this anime will follow a teenager who, after dying in a car accident while trying to save a child, starts a new life by investigating paranormal phenomena back on Earth.
