Geralt, the iconic Witcher, is portrayed by Henry Cavill in the live-action adaptation and also voiced by Doug Cockle in THE WITCHER: SIRENS OF THE DEEP and the video game series by CD Projekt Red, has been the heart of The Witcher stories. As a Witcher, he is part of a group of monster hunters from the School of The Wolf, trained to battle various monsters, supernatural creatures, and other dark forces. However, his existence, which is incomprehensible to the society in this Witcher world, is also filled with complex moral dilemmas. Despite being tough and cold on the surface, Geralt actually has a compassionate and struggling heart to find his place in this brutal world.

As depicted in THE WITCHER: BLOOD ORIGIN, 1200 years before the events in The Witcher, the continent consisted of three warring Elf kingdoms for a thousand years. When one king finally tries to establish peace, Balor, the royal advisor, orchestrates the murder of the rulers of the three kingdoms by monsters he brought from another world. Balor then combines the three kingdoms into a cruel and ruthless world kingdom called the Golden Empire.

Balor tries to use the magical powers of chaos from another world after stealing from a witch named Syndril that allows him to move between worlds. However, he is thwarted by Syndril and a group of six other warriors. Syndril and other sorcerers named Zacaré accidentally trigger an interdimensional event called conjuction of the spheres. This event breaks the boundaries between dimensions and brings humans and many monsters into the main world of The Witcher.

THE WITCHER: SIRENS OF THE DEEP will take place right in the middle of season 1 of the live-action show and is based on the short story A LITTLE PARADISE, written by the original creator of The Witcher series, Andrzej Sapkowski. A LITTLE SACRIFICE tells the story of a forbidden love between two individuals of different species in the Witcher world, a mermaid princess named Sh'eenaz and a human prince named Agloval.

The story of THE WITCHER: SIRENS OF THE DEEP will feature Geralt of Rivia, Jaskier, and also a new character named Essi Daven, a friend and rival of Jaskier who investigates a series of attacks in a coastal village amidst the escalating conflict between its human inhabitants and the sea creatures.
