Kapanlagi.com - Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, and many more portray members of the Avengers. The Avengers are a team of superheroes formed by S.H.I.E.L.D. to protect Earth. In films like THE AVENGERS (2012), AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON (2015), AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR (2018), AVENGERS: ENDGAME (2019), and the latest AVENGERS DOOMSDAY (2026).

Each member of the Avengers has a unique background and powers that make them valuable to the team. Let’s take a closer look at who the most familiar and beloved Avengers members are, as reported by marvel.com.

1. Iron Man: Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.)

KLovers, the figure of Iron Man is known as a technologically advanced superhero born from the extraordinary intelligence of Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.). He is a genius inventor who uses cutting-edge technology to solve various problems as a member of the Avengers.

Tony Stark continues the weapons business of his father, Howard Stark, after both of his parents pass away. Under his leadership, Stark Industries flourishes with increasingly advanced innovations. However, Tony's life changes drastically when he is in Afghanistan to demonstrate the latest missile for the United States military. The convoy he is in is attacked by the terrorist group Ten Rings, leaving Tony seriously injured.

Tony is then captured and wakes up in the Ten Rings' headquarters. He learns that shrapnel is lodged near his heart and is almost taking his life. Thanks to the help of a scientist and fellow captive, Ho Yinsen, Tony's life can be saved for the time being. Yinsen installed a powerful electromagnet in Tony's chest to prevent shrapnel from reaching his heart.

When the terrorists forced Tony to make a new weapon, he instead created RT, a mini version of the Arc Reactor that his father had designed. Together with Yinsen, Tony also made a simple suit of armor as an escape tool. The plan worked, although Yinsen had to sacrifice his life to give Tony time to power up the armor.

With the help of his friend, Lieutenant Colonel James Rhodes, Tony returned to America and made a shocking decision by announcing that Stark Industries would no longer be in the weapons business. This decision was supported by his personal assistant, Pepper Potts, but was strongly opposed by Obadiah Stane, his father's old business partner.

Tony then refined his armor in the lab. This is where a new identity was born, Iron Man. Upon discovering that Obadiah Stane was illegally selling Stark weapons to the Ten Rings, Tony returned to Afghanistan to stop them. He also uncovered the shocking fact that Stane was behind the assassination attempt on him and intended to take over Stark Industries.

The situation became even more critical when Stane took RT from Tony's chest and left him to die. Thanks to Pepper's help, Tony managed to use his old RT and flew again as Iron Man. The climactic battle occurred when Stane appeared with his own giant armor. In the end, Stark and Pepper succeeded in defeating him, resulting in Stane's death.

Feeling more confident than ever, Tony Stark held a press conference. Impulsively, he announced to the world that he is Iron Man. This is where the legend of the armored superhero truly began.

2. Captain America: Steve Rogers (Chris Evans)

Captain America, the legendary superhero born from the World War II era. He is known as America’s super soldier who continues his fight to this day as a member of the Avengers and an unyielding guardian of freedom.

This story begins with Steve Rogers, a frail young man who was repeatedly rejected from the United States Army. Despite this, he never gave up. His jealousy and admiration for his friend, Bucky Barnes, who managed to become a soldier, made Steve try once more to defend his country in the dark times of World War II.

Steve's determination to fight against oppressors caught the attention of scientist Dr. Abraham Erskine. He was directly chosen to participate in the Army's Super-Soldier program. Despite knowing about the previous experiment's failure that resulted in the terrifying figure known as 'Red Skull', Steve bravely underwent the process and emerged as a new man with enhanced strength, speed, and reflexes.

His first test came right after the experiment was completed, when he had to chase down the murderer of Dr. Erskine. From that event, Steve also learned about Hydra's involvement, the Nazi science division, in the death of the scientist. Shortly thereafter, the Army created a new identity for him under the name 'Captain America' and assigned him to travel around selling war bonds.

However, Steve felt that his role was too far removed from the battlefield. Upon hearing that the division where Bucky Barnes served was captured by the enemy, he immediately went to the battlefield to rescue them. This unplanned mission was successful, even briefly bringing him face to face with Red Skull. From that moment on, Steve affirmed his path as a one-man combat force.

As Captain America, Steve Rogers is equipped with a nearly indestructible shield made of vibranium, a rare metal from Wakanda. This shield was designed by Howard Stark during World War II. In addition to being able to withstand heavy attacks, the shield can also be thrown and return to its owner's hand. For Captain America, this shield is not just a weapon, but a symbol of strength and protection.

Steve is also trained in the use of firearms, although in modern times he rarely uses them. The Captain America costume and helmet have undergone many updates since the 1940s, providing extra protection from weather and enemies.

The first main enemy of Captain America is Johann Schmidt, the leader of Hydra known as Red Skull. Schmidt's obsession with power led him to failed super serum experiments that transformed his face to resemble a red skull. With the power from the Tesseract, an extraordinary energy source, Red Skull separated from Hitler's forces and became a major threat. Nevertheless, Captain America continued to pursue him until Red Skull was believed to have died in a plane crash over the North Atlantic Ocean.

3. Thor (Chris Hemsworth)

Thor, the legendary god of thunder who brings the power of the ancient Asgardians to fight evil across the Nine Realms and even beyond the boundaries of the universe. He is known as Thor Odinson, a mighty hero with extraordinary strength and the heart of a protector.

Thor was born about 1,500 years ago as the son of Odin and Frigga, the king and queen of Asgard. From a young age, he grew into a tough warrior and guardian for his people and his realm. Nevertheless, Odin often judged Thor to be too reckless and careless, although Thor himself looked forward to the day he would ascend the throne. Behind that, his adoptive brother, Loki, secretly devised a plan to ensure that day would never come.

Loki manipulated Thor into attacking the Frost Giants, the ancient enemies of the Asgardians who are also Loki's kind. As a lesson in humility, Odin stripped Thor of his magical hammer Mjolnir and exiled him to Midgard, the realm we know as Earth. Separated from Asgard and without his powers, Thor meets scientist Jane Foster and Erik Selvig, who are investigating strange phenomena in a small town in New Mexico.

While Thor struggles to cope with life as an ordinary human, Loki is scheming to seize the throne of Asgard. He even planned to bring the Frost Giant King, Laufey, who is his biological father, to Asgard to kill Odin. On Earth, Thor sacrificed himself to save the city from destruction. This act impressed Odin and restored all of Asgardian power within Thor.

With Mjolnir back in his hands and the growing admiration and potential love from Jane Foster, Thor returned to Asgard. He succeeded in defeating the Frost Giants and fought against Loki. Feeling defeated and struck by Odin's rejection, Loki chose to throw himself into a vortex of foreign space, witnessed by Thor and their father. Although happy to return to Asgard, Thor's heart remained focused on the adventures and memories in Midgard with Jane.

As an Asgardian god, Thor possesses extraordinary strength, endurance, stamina, and longevity. However, what truly sets him apart is his ability to control lightning and storms, a hallmark of Odin's true son. Thor is able to summon lightning and thunder at will, shaping it like a blacksmith forges metal into weapons. He once thought that this power came from Mjolnir, but in reality, that power has been within him from the very beginning.

Mjolnir has been Thor's loyal weapon for almost a thousand years. This hammer was forged by Odin from the core of a dying star and enchanted so that only those who are 'worthy' can lift it and possess the power of the god of thunder. When Thor was with the Avengers on Earth, his teammates tried to lift Mjolnir, and only Captain America was able to move it slightly, something that immediately caught Thor's attention.

After Mjolnir was destroyed by Hela, a new threat emerged in the form of Thanos. Thor then forged a new weapon called Stormbreaker with the help of Eitri, the blacksmith from Nidavellir, and a young Groot. Stormbreaker is a giant axe with abilities similar to Mjolnir, including the power to open the Bifrost.

In his journey, Thor faces many dangerous enemies. His relationship with Loki is always full of conflict and can be said to be very complicated. Despite being betrayed often, Thor still believes that his brother can change. This belief is proven when Loki sacrifices his life to protect Thor from Thanos, leaving a deep sorrow for the god of thunder.

In addition to Loki, Thor also faces great enemies such as the Frost Giant King Laufey, Surtur the fire giant, Malekith from the dark elf race, and Hela, his half-sister known as the goddess of death. He was also imprisoned on the planet Sakaar by the Grandmaster. Thor's hatred for Thanos grows even more after the tyrant annihilates many Asgardian races and the people he loves, making this fight very personal for the god of thunder.

4. Spider-Man: Peter Parker (Tom Holland)

Spider-Man, a teenage superhero with extraordinary abilities like a spider. Behind the mask is Peter Parker, a genius teenager in the field of science who fights against evil while dreaming of one day becoming part of the Avengers.

The story of Spider-Man begins when Peter Parker is bitten by a spider and mysteriously gains arachnid powers. Instead of using them for personal gain, Peter chooses to use these abilities to help others. As an orphan living with his aunt, May Parker, he decides to wear a mask while acting so that his aunt is not burdened by the risks of his actions.

With the name Spider-Man and his own web-shooter invention, Peter's actions were recorded and went viral on the internet. This caught the attention of Tony Stark. The genius billionaire managed to guess Spider-Man's secret identity and visited Peter and May's home in Queens, New York. Tony asks for Peter's help in a major conflict against Captain America and a group of Avengers on the opposing side. Although initially hesitant to acknowledge his secret activities, Peter's sense of responsibility and the temptation of adventure led him to accept the offer, including the advanced costume and new web-shooters.

Spider-Man's abilities include significantly enhanced strength, stamina, and agility. He can also stick to almost any surface with his hands and feet, and has a kind of natural alarm that warns him of danger. While wearing the costume, Spider-Man moves nimbly while throwing out his signature quips that define him.

The Spider-Man costume designed by Tony Stark is equipped with web-shooters at the wrists that shoot out super-strong synthetic webs. Additionally, this costume has special optical capabilities, a voice changer, drone tracking devices, and protection from various external threats. When not in use, the costume looks like regular thin fabric, but it fits perfectly to the body when worn and remains flexible with every movement.

Later on, Peter also acquired a special armor from Tony Stark that adopts Iron Man-style technology. This costume has extra protection, advanced optical systems, internal air supply, and four additional arms resembling spider legs that can be directly controlled by his mind.

In his journey, Spider-Man faces his first supervillain, Adrian Toomes aka Vulture. Initially considered just a nuisance, Spider-Man gradually becomes a serious threat to Toomes' plans. Vulture even managed to discover Peter's secret identity and threatened those closest to him. However, a sense of responsibility and justice made Peter continue to fight until he succeeded in stopping Toomes and sending him to prison. Even though he knows Spider-Man's secret, Vulture chooses to keep it as a form of respect.

Another threat also comes from Vulture's associates, such as Herman Schultz aka Shocker who uses powerful weapon gloves, and Mac Gargan, a dangerous criminal who holds a grudge against Spider-Man. Both are now imprisoned, but Gargan in particular still harbors ambitions of revenge against this young hero of New York.

When Thanos begins hunting for the Infinity Stones, Spider-Man unhesitatingly helps Iron Man and confronts Thanos and his followers directly. From here it is evident that despite still being a teenager, Spider-Man has proven himself to be a true hero with great responsibility on his shoulders.

5. Hulk: Bruce Banner (Mark Ruffalo)

Hulk, the green giant with unmatched strength born from a scientific tragedy. Behind the raging form is Bruce Banner, a genius scientist whose life changed completely after being exposed to gamma radiation in extremely high doses.

Dr. Bruce Banner is a bioscience expert researching the effects of gamma radiation on humans. He works alongside Dr. Betty Ross at a university laboratory in Virginia. Unbeknownst to both of them, Banner's research is actually being directed by Betty's father, General 'Thunderbolt' Ross of the United States Army, into a military weapon development program.

Everything changed when Banner decided to test the results of his research on himself. The experiment actually triggered an extraordinary transformation that turned him into a giant green creature driven by rage. In his Hulk form, Banner destroyed his laboratory and accidentally injured Betty Ross. After that, he fled to avoid capture and further experimentation by the military, while also beginning a desperate search to find a cure for his condition.

Although Bruce Banner is known as an intelligent and rational figure, Hulk is his opposite, a creature that relies entirely on physical strength. Hulk possesses the greatest raw power of any natural being on Earth, with a strength limit that has never truly been tested. His leg muscles allow him to jump extremely far and land without injury, while his skin can withstand heavy weapon attacks, extreme weather, and even unnatural threats.

Over time, Hulk's intelligence also evolved. Initially, he had a mindset like that of a baby, then it progressed to that of a toddler. His way of speaking also evolved from growls, to one or two words, to full sentences that sound simple and fragmented. The Banner realizes that the Hulk is a part of him, although he often refers to him as “the other guy.” Conversely, the Hulk seems to have no respect for Banner and may not even realize that they are the same person.

Banner's transformation into the Hulk is usually triggered by stress, anxiety, and especially anger. This change can be reversed if the Hulk manages to calm down, either through his own efforts or through a special spell used by his fellow Avengers, particularly Natasha Romanoff, the Black Widow.

As an Avenger, the Hulk has faced many tough enemies. He has fought against the Abomination on the streets of Harlem, the Chitauri alien army along with their flying leviathans, Loki from Asgard, high-tech Hydra soldiers, and even Iron Man's Hulkbuster armor. The Hulk has also faced Thor directly in the Grandmaster's arena on Sakaar.

Although not a physical match, General “Thunderbolt” Ross can be considered Hulk's most relentless enemy. He continuously hunts Banner and exploits the scientist's work for the interests of the United States military. In terms of pure strength, Thanos is a truly worthy opponent and even managed to defeat the Hulk in direct combat.

Thanos's crushing defeat marked a major turning point for the Hulk. No other enemy has ever defeated him as clearly as that. After that meeting, Hulk refused to show up again, while Bruce Banner continued the fight against Thanos and his followers.

6. War Machine: James 'Rhodey' Rhodes (Terrence Howard, Don Cheadle)

War Machine is a heavily armored hero known for his loyalty and bravery. Behind that full weaponized armor is United States Air Force Lieutenant Colonel James 'Rhodey' Rhodes, just as reliable whether flying a plane or controlling a super-advanced battle suit.

As Tony Stark's longtime friend, Rhodey knows the genius playboy better than most. However, he doesn't always align with Tony's laid-back and reckless lifestyle. When Stark tested the Jericho missile in Afghanistan, Tony asked Rhodey to ride in another Humvee. That simple decision ended up saving Rhodey's life and changed Tony's life forever when the Ten Rings group attacked and kidnapped Stark.

While Tony secretly built his first Iron Man armor to escape, Rhodey continued searching for him. He was on-site when the escaped Tony was found stumbling in the desert. Shortly after that, when Iron Man attacked the Ten Rings, Rhodey was assigned to evaluate the strange incident. This is where Tony finally admits that he is inside the armor. To protect his friend, Rhodey holds a press conference and refers to the incident as a failed military exercise.

The situation escalates when Obadiah Stane steals the latest ARC reactor from Tony's chest. Rhodey helps Pepper Potts reinstall the old reactor to save Tony's life, even considering wearing his own armor when Tony flies out to confront Stane. After Tony openly admits to being Iron Man, government concerns grow, especially when Ivan Vanko proves that similar technology can be replicated. Rhodey tries to convince his superiors not to confiscate the Iron Man armor.

The situation heats up when Tony throws a birthday party and behaves recklessly while wearing his armor, endangering the guests. To stop his friend's behavior, Rhodey puts on Tony's Mark II armor and gets into a fierce fight with him. After the incident, Rhodey takes the armor to Edwards Air Force Base. There, Tony's rival, Justin Hammer, was asked to equip the armor with various heavy weapons. After seeing all the armaments offered, Rhodey decided to install them all at once, and from here, a new identity called War Machine was born.

As War Machine, James Rhodes demonstrated top-notch skills in flying and operating military weaponry. The armor, which was originally a modification of Iron Man Mark II, continued to undergo development. Both War Machine and Iron Patriot combine technology created by Tony Stark with weapons from various manufacturers, making Rhodey like a walking arsenal.

The War Machine armor provides super strength, flight capabilities, and core weapons such as unibeam and repulsor ray. In addition, this armor is equipped with a spinning minigun, shooting gloves, sonic cannons, rocket launchers, and other heavy weaponry. Rhodey has also used a special baton that can incapacitate enemies with powerful energy blasts without killing them.

After becoming paralyzed, Tony Stark designed a high-tech leg brace so Rhodey could walk again. Although he initially had difficulty adjusting, Rhodey eventually got used to it. Interestingly, the support was not needed when he wore the War Machine armor.

On his journey, the Ten Rings became Rhodey's enemies after nearly killing Tony Stark. In his first action as War Machine, Rhodey, alongside Iron Man, faced Ivan Vanko and armed drone troops. He also helped Tony fight Aldrich Killian, the Extremis soldiers, and the treacherous Vice President Rodriguez. Together with the Avengers, War Machine played a role in stopping Ultron in Sokovia, fighting against Captain America's group in the Sokovia Accords conflict, and ultimately reuniting with the Avengers to face Thanos's invasion in Wakanda.

7. Black Widow: Natasha Romanoff (Scarlett Johansson)

Black Widow, a spy and deadly assassin whose life is full of secrets. When threats from her past come back to haunt her, Natasha Romanoff must reunite an unexpected network of spies to survive and stop a deadly force that could be unleashed upon the world.

Natasha Romanoff was trained from a very young age in a secret Russian facility called the Red Room. It was here that she honed the skills that shaped her into an extraordinary fighter, able to stand shoulder to shoulder with super soldiers, Asgardians, and advanced armored heroes. Although she initially worked for the KGB, Natasha eventually defected, changing her allegiance and choosing to fight on the side of good.

Unlike many of her fellow Avengers, Black Widow does not possess superpowers. However, she reaches the peak of human ability in terms of strength, agility, and stamina. Natasha is trained almost perfectly in various martial arts such as karate, judo, kung fu, and wrestling. Her proficiency with weapons, both traditional and high-tech, combined with her background in gymnastics, acrobatics, and ballet, allows her to always complete her missions.

She is equally skilled with a simple pistol, a Chitauri battle staff, and Captain America's shield. Her signature weapons include two batons, a pair of Glock 26s, and Black Widow’s Bite, a bracelet that can deliver electric shocks. Natasha is also highly skilled in hacking computer systems and technology to gather information or take control.

Most of Black Widow's enemies were initially assigned to her, first by the KGB and then by S.H.I.E.L.D. In recent years, she has been directly involved in taking down big names such as Ivan Vanko, Justin Hammer, Chitauri, HYDRA, Baron Wolfgang von Strucker, and Helmut Zemo, and that's just a fraction of what we know.

Natasha has also faced tough foes like Loki and Ultron. When Loki thought he could manipulate her by leveraging her past, it was Natasha who successfully read Loki's plan to unleash the Hulk. When Ultron captured her, Natasha was still able to sabotage the robot and send her location to the Avengers, helping them strategize for victory.

After the events of the Sokovia Accords and Civil War, Natasha was forced to come out of hiding alongside Steve Rogers and Sam Wilson when Thanos came to Earth to collect the six Infinity Stones. These stones possess terrifying power capable of erasing half of all life in the universe with just a snap of his fingers.

Although raised to live independently without emotional ties, Black Widow proves herself to be an outstanding team member. Clint Barton, or Hawkeye, is known as Natasha's closest friend. He feels indebted because Clint chose to take him out of the KGB, rather than eliminate him as a target. His concern for Clint is evident when he negotiates for his freedom when Loki controls the archer, and Natasha also becomes the only Avenger who initially knows about Hawkeye's family.

Natasha is loyal to S.H.I.E.L.D. and Nick Fury until they realize that HYDRA has manipulated the organization. Fury then activates the Avengers Protocol and brings Natasha and Clint to join Captain America, Iron Man, Hulk, and Thor. Over time, Black Widow fights alongside Scarlet Witch, Vision, Falcon, War Machine, Winter Soldier, Spider-Man, Black Panther, and the elite Dora Milaje.

8. Vision (Paul Bettany)

Vision, a truly unique figure in the Marvel universe. He is created from a blend of technology and extraordinary power, ranging from Wakandan Vibranium, Asgardian lightning, to an Infinity Stone. His existence is proof that life can arise from science, magic, and good intentions.

The origin of Vision is closely tied to Ultron's plan. The evil AI created a synthetic body for himself using Dr. Helen Cho's Regeneration Cradle, stolen Vibranium, and a gem from Loki's scepter that turned out to be an Infinity Stone called the Mind Stone. When Tony Stark and Bruce Banner realize that the body can still be used for good, they insert Tony's JARVIS system into it. Thor then perfects the process by summoning his lightning, and from there, Vision comes to life and begins to assist the Avengers.

Thanks to advanced artificial intelligence, a synthetic body layered with Vibranium, and the Mind Stone embedded in his forehead, Vision possesses extraordinary powers. He is capable of processing massive amounts of data in a short time, penetrating solid objects, possessing super strength, flying, and even emitting powerful energy beams from the Mind Stone. All of this makes him one of the most unique members of the Avengers.

The existence of Vision immediately enraged Ultron, as the body was originally created for him. Although he only fought once, Vision proved to be superior, especially with the support of the Avengers. Another threat came from Thanos, who was hunting the Infinity Stones. Vision had to confront the Titan directly and his followers, such as Proxima Midnight and Corvus Glaive, who were targeting the Mind Stone in his head.

Since gaining consciousness, Vision has demonstrated his worth by lifting Thor's hammer, Mjolnir, something that can only be done by someone truly worthy. He then fought alongside the Avengers against Ultron and trained with Captain America and Black Widow, building close relationships with teammates like Wanda Maximoff, War Machine, and Falcon.

The most prominent relationship for Vision is with Wanda Maximoff. The two gradually developed a romantic relationship that evolved as Vision understood his humanity. This bond becomes one of the most emotional aspects in Vision's journey as a synthetic being learning about feelings.

The origin of Vision is also inseparable from JARVIS, the artificial intelligence system created by Tony Stark before he became Iron Man. JARVIS helped Tony build and operate various Iron Man armors. After Loki's scepter was seized from HYDRA in Sokovia, Stark discovered the presence of advanced AI within it and, along with Bruce Banner, secretly initiated the Ultron project.

However, Ultron turned against the Avengers and seemingly destroyed JARVIS. Nevertheless, remnants of JARVIS's programming managed to survive and even prevented Ultron from accessing the world's nuclear codes. When Ultron forced Dr. Helen Cho to create a new body using the Cradle, the Avengers managed to reclaim it. Tony then integrated JARVIS into that body, despite some objections from his teammates.

The situation escalated until Thor arrived and brought the body to life with Mjolnir's lightning. A new figure named Vision was born. Although initially doubted, Vision immediately proved himself by lifting Thor's hammer and returning it. In Sokovia, Vision played a significant role in stopping Ultron by limiting his movements and ultimately erasing the evil AI's existence from the world.

After Ultron was defeated, Thor declared Vision worthy of wielding the Mind Stone. This solidified his position as a member of the Avengers in a new formation alongside Captain America, Black Widow, Wanda Maximoff, Falcon, and War Machine. Vision became a symbol of hope that even artificial beings can choose to protect humanity.

9. Captain America: Sam Wilson (Anthony Mackie)

The journey of Captain America is not just about Steve Rogers. Sam Wilson also plays a significant role in continuing the legacy of this legendary hero. It all began when Steve Rogers asked for help from a veteran Air Force member named Sam Wilson. Without hesitation, Sam agreed and donned his flight combat suit as Falcon, the first step that led him to become an Avenger and ultimately Captain America.

Sam Wilson first proved his abilities while serving in the United States Air Force as a pilot of the EXO 7 Falcon flight suit in the 58th Rescue Squadron. He served alongside his friend and wingman, Riley. However, a tragic mission took Riley's life and caused Sam to lose his fighting spirit. After completing his service, Sam moved to Washington D.C.

and dedicated his life to helping veterans readjust to civilian life, including dealing with war trauma.

Fate brought him together with Steve Rogers during a morning jog. The two quickly bonded as they both experienced the difficulty of returning to normal life after the war. Steve even visited Sam at the Veterans Affairs building, where Sam led a discussion on Post Traumatic Stress, and it was there that Sam shared the story of losing Riley.

The situation changed drastically when the Winter Soldier was suspected of killing Nick Fury. Steve Rogers and Natasha Romanoff were forced to go on the run. Steve knew Sam was someone he could trust, and he asked for his help. Sam agreed without much question, considering Captain America's request the best reason to get back into action. Together, they uncovered HYDRA's infiltration within S.H.I.E.L.D.

As Falcon, Sam Wilson is a skilled aerial fighter. Armed with military training and experience with the Avengers, Sam mastered the EXO 7 Falcon suit exceptionally well. This suit is equipped with firearms, protective wings, and high-tech goggles that provide telescopic and microscopic vision. He is also accompanied by Redwing, an advanced drone that can be used for reconnaissance and combat.

In action, Sam directly faced HYDRA, including the dangerous agent Brock Rumlow, who later became known as Crossbones. He also fought Bucky Barnes while he was still the brainwashed Winter Soldier. Later on, they ended up fighting on the same side. Sam also clashed with Ant-Man and then faced Iron Man and his team during the Sokovia Accords conflict. When the threat of Thanos arose, Sam was back on the front lines against the Titan's forces, including Proxima Midnight and Corvus Glaive.

As a winged Avenger, Sam fought alongside many great heroes such as Black Widow, Scarlet Witch, Vision, Hawkeye, Iron Man, Thor, Bruce Banner, War Machine, Black Panther, and even Groot and Rocket from the Guardians. His relationship with Bucky Barnes and Ant Man is often colored by jokes, though it remains full of mutual respect.

One of Sam's most crucial missions occurs when he helps Captain America and Black Widow steal back the Falcon suit from Camp Mead. From there, they force Jasper Sitwell to leak the plans of HYDRA's Project Insight. Sam even has to catch Sitwell in mid-air after Natasha drops him from a building. The fact reveals that the Helicarrier for Project Insight is designed to kill anyone deemed a threat by HYDRA.

In the major battle at S.H.I.E.L.D.'s Triskellion headquarters, Sam fiercely fights against the Winter Soldier and Brock Rumlow. One of the wings of his Falcon suit is even destroyed, forcing him to survive with a parachute. Despite being injured and exhausted, Sam continues to fight until he ultimately survives thanks to the help of Nick Fury and Black Widow.

From a veteran who once lost his way, Sam Wilson grows into a hero who not only soars high as Falcon but is also ready to bear the great legacy as Captain America.

10. Hawkeye: Clint Barton (Jeremy Renner)

Among the Avengers who possess superpowers and advanced technology, Clint Barton, also known as Hawkeye, stands out as an ordinary human with extraordinary abilities. He is a sharpshooter and a skilled fighter who dedicates his expertise as a special agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. Although he often receives direct orders, Hawkeye is known to have a strong moral compass and frequently chooses to follow his heart.

Very little is known about Clint Barton's past. However, his skills as a weapons expert and combatant are beyond doubt. He was involved in the event of Thor's arrival on Earth and was very impressed with the God of Thunder. One of his important roles was bringing Natasha Romanoff to S.H.I.E.L.D., saving her life, and giving her a chance to redeem her past as Black Widow.

Thanks to his extraordinary skills, Nick Fury recruited Clint into the Avengers Initiative. However, his initial steps with the Avengers did not go smoothly. In his first mission, his mind was controlled by Loki, the God of Chaos from Asgard, causing him to fight against his own teammates. After breaking free from that control, Clint, filled with guilt, immediately joined the Avengers to take down Loki.

Since then, Hawkeye has consistently used his abilities to combat various major threats such as the Chitauri, Ultron, HYDRA, and even fellow Avengers when the situation demands. As one of the best agents of S.H.I.E.L.D and the best marksman in the world, Clint relies on both traditional weapons and high-tech gadgets, with his bow and arrows being his trademark. Almost no other human can match his accuracy, tactical cleverness, and combat instinct.

Clint is also known as a skilled acrobat, trained military fighter, and top-notch spy. He is capable of facing tough opponents and becomes a serious threat when his strategies and plans turn against the Avengers, such as when he was under Loki's influence. His equipment includes various types of bows, a special quiver, knives, standard S.H.I.E.L.D firearms, and even a collapsible staff.

As part of the Avengers, Hawkeye's enemies are anyone who threatens Earth. He has faced the Chitauri, HYDRA, Ultron and his robot army, and Ulysses Klaue. He even fought against his fellow Avengers during the Sokovia Accords conflict to help Captain America and Winter Soldier reach Siberia.

Clint's most personal enemy is Loki. The guilt from his actions while under Loki's control continues to haunt him. He blames the Asgardian prince for all the casualties and holds a deep-seated grudge that never fades.

Behind his toughness, Clint has a strong network of friendships. He collaborates with Nick Fury, Maria Hill, and Phil Coulson, while remaining loyal to his personal principles. His closest relationship is with Natasha Romanoff. They often work together and share a very strong emotional bond. Natasha even risked everything to free Clint from Loki's control and is the only agent who knows the secrets of his family.

Clint also has close relationships with other Avengers like Iron Man, Hulk, Captain America, Thor, as well as Vision, Falcon, and Ant Man. He serves as a mentor to Wanda Maximoff, helping Scarlet Witch face her fears and find her identity as an Avenger. The sacrifice of Pietro Maximoff, who saved her life, left a deep mark.

For Clint Barton, the most important thing is not the title of Avenger or his reputation as Hawkeye, but rather his family. His wife Laura and his children Cooper, Lila, and Nathaniel are the biggest reasons he continues to fight. Nathaniel's middle name, Pietro, is an everlasting tribute to the sacrifice of a friend.

11. Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen)

Wanda Maximoff's journey as Scarlet Witch is a story of grief, anger, and ultimately redemption. The loss of her parents made Wanda harbor great hatred towards Tony Stark. That pain dragged her into HYDRA, where she gained her powers, then continued to Ultron, until she finally opened her eyes and switched to the right side.

Wanda and her twin brother, Pietro Maximoff, are Sokovian survivors of the explosion in their apartment that took their parents' lives. After that, another missile fell but did not explode. For days, they were trapped under the rubble with a deadly weapon bearing the Stark name right in front of them, leaving a deep trauma in Wanda's life.

Years later, Wanda and Pietro voluntarily underwent HYDRA's genetic experiments under the supervision of Baron Wolfgang von Strucker, using Loki's scepter. They were among the few subjects who survived. Wanda gained various extraordinary abilities, and together with Pietro, she used those powers to assist Ultron, who harbored similar hatred towards Tony Stark.

However, everything changed when Wanda realized Ultron's true plans. Realizing his mistake, he and Pietro turned against Ultron and joined the Avengers to stop greater destruction. This is where Wanda's journey as an Avenger began.

Wanda's powers, known as Scarlet Power, are still not fully mapped out. Because her source partly comes from the Mind Stone in Loki's scepter, Wanda possesses telekinesis, energy manipulation, and neuroelectric interfacing that allows her to read minds and create nightmares while awake. Under the guidance of Captain America and Black Widow, Wanda also learned close combat and combat strategies.

As her allegiances changed, Wanda's list of enemies also shifted. She once hated Tony Stark because his missiles killed her parents. Ultron exploited that anger to manipulate Wanda and Pietro. However, Wanda eventually saw Ultron as the true threat and helped stop his genocidal plans. Although her relationship with Stark was never truly close, they became teammates as Avengers.

The next major threat came from Thanos. His ambition to collect all the Infinity Stones brought him face to face with Vision, a figure who meant a lot to Wanda. In her effort to protect Vision and the Mind Stone, Wanda had to fight Proxima Midnight, Corvus Glaive, and even Thanos himself. She even managed to defeat Proxima Midnight to protect Black Widow and Okoye. This battle became very personal for Wanda because of her love for Vision and her determination to save the universe.

On her journey to becoming an Avenger, Wanda built many important relationships. Her strongest bond is certainly with Pietro, who has always protected her since the death of their parents. After turning against Ultron, Wanda fought alongside Captain America, Thor, Hulk, Black Widow, and Iron Man. Hawkeye became a mentor figure who saw great potential in her. The loss of Pietro in the battle against Ultron became the deepest wound she felt.

Despite being engulfed in grief, Wanda moved forward as a fully-fledged Avenger. She joined a new team with Captain America, Black Widow, Falcon, War Machine, and Vision. Wanda and Vision's relationship developed into a strong and unique love story. In fact, Wanda once refused to destroy the Mind Stone on Vision's forehead even knowing that the fate of the universe depended on that decision.

Baron von Strucker's experiments gave Wanda the abilities of mental manipulation and telekinesis, while Pietro gained super speed. Both were initially held captive and slowly learned to control their new powers. When the Avengers attacked the HYDRA base in Sokovia, Wanda showcased her abilities by taking down Captain America and revealing Tony Stark's deepest nightmares.

Wanda then played a significant role in the conflict triggered by Ultron, including manipulating the Avengers and provoking Hulk's rampage. However, in Seoul, he finally saw Ultron's plan to annihilate almost all of humanity. Wanda freed Dr. Helen Cho, escaped with Pietro, and helped the Avengers fight Ultron until the end.

After being brought to the Avengers' headquarters, Wanda witnessed the birth of Vision and still felt wary of the new being. However, she and Pietro eventually returned to Sokovia to help the Avengers stop Ultron, marking Wanda Maximoff's final step towards her role as the Scarlet Witch and a true Avenger.

12. Black Panther: T'Challa (Chadwick Boseman)

T'Challa is the King of Wakanda and Black Panther, a hero who gains super strength from a heart-shaped herb. He leads the Avengers against Thanos.

13. Ant-Man: Scott Lang (Paul Rudd)

Scott Lang is a former convict who becomes Ant-Man after stealing the Pym suit. He plays a crucial role in Avengers: Endgame thanks to his knowledge of the Quantum Realm.

14. The Wasp: Hope Van Dyne (Evangeline Lilly)

The Wasp is not just an heir to a great name, but a tough figure who proves that true strength comes from perseverance, intelligence, and courage. Hope van Dyne is the daughter of two legendary heroes, Hank Pym the Ant-Man and Janet van Dyne the Wasp. She plays a crucial role in training Scott Lang as the successor to Ant-Man while ensuring that the dangerous Yellowjacket technology is completely destroyed.

Since losing her mother, Janet van Dyne, Hope grew up with anger and disappointment towards her father, who felt emotionally distant. Instead of sinking into sadness, she channeled her emotions into self-training. Taking her mother's last name, Hope van Dyne developed into a figure who is strong both physically and mentally. She even managed to become the chairwoman of Pym Technologies, the company founded by Hank Pym, showcasing her abilities in the business and science worlds.

The conflict escalated when Hank Pym refused to share the secrets of Pym Particles with Darren Cross, his trusted pupil. Alongside Cross, Hope made the decision to remove Hank from Pym Technologies. However, the situation changed drastically when Cross revealed the Yellowjacket technology, the ability to create insect-sized soldiers based on Pym's research, and intended to sell it as a weapon of war. Realizing this malicious intent, Hope teamed up with her father again to stop Cross.

Trained from a young age, Hope van Dyne is known as a dangerous athlete and martial artist even without the aid of high-tech suits. Her acrobatic fighting style and quick reflexes allow her to incapacitate opponents and effectively dodge attacks. This is the skill she passed on to Scott Lang while training him to use the Ant-Man suit and control ants through Pym Particles.

Although she once viewed her father as an antagonist due to his cold demeanor after Janet's departure, Hope eventually understood the reasons behind Hank's actions. As an adult, she briefly sided with Darren Cross and helped oust Hank from Pym Technologies. However, upon learning of Cross's plan to sell the Yellowjacket technology to dangerous parties, including Mitchell Carson who turned out to be a HYDRA agent, Hope chose to help Hank and Scott stop that threat.

Hope's relationship with Scott Lang also developed over time. Although initially skeptical of the former convict whom her father trusted as the new Ant-Man, Hope eventually saw Scott's sincerity. Together with Luis, Dave, and Kurt, they succeeded in erasing all Yellowjacket data from Pym's server and destroying the facility so that its technology could not be misused.

The death of Janet van Dyne was a great wound for this small family. Hank drowned himself in work to find a way to bring Janet back, while little Hope was sent to boarding school and channeled her emotions through martial arts training. As an adult, although still harboring anger, Hope teamed up with her father again to stop Darren Cross, who intended to sell Yellowjacket as a weapon and espionage tool.

On her journey, Hope eventually learned the truth about her mother. Janet did not die; instead, she sacrificed herself by shrinking down to enter the Quantum Realm while on a mission as Wasp to stop a Soviet ballistic missile. This knowledge became a turning point in Hope and Hank's relationship. By forgiving each other, they reunited with a clearer purpose. From here, Hope van Dyne truly stepped forward as The Wasp, a hero who carries a legacy, strength, and new hope.

15. Captain Marvel: Carol Danvers (Brie Larson)

Captain Marvel, a cosmic hero with extraordinary powers and a life full of twists and turns. Almost killed in an incident, Carol Danvers instead transforms into a super soldier of the Kree race. Years later, when she returns to Earth, she must remember her past to prevent a massive invasion from the shape-shifting Skrull aliens.

Since childhood, Carol Danvers has been known as a brave individual who always challenges limits. Whether playing at the beach, biking, playing softball, or go-kart racing, she never hesitates to try new things. Although often forbidden by her father for engaging in 'boys' activities', Carol is even more motivated to prove her abilities. Every time she falls, she always gets back up and tries again, until fate leads her into the United States Air Force.

In the late 1980s, Carol officially joined the Air Force and formed a close friendship with fellow pilot, Maria 'Photon' Rambeau, and her daughter, Monica. With the motto 'Higher, Further, Faster', Carol and Maria shared dreams, laughter, and karaoke nights in between flight test missions. She served in Project Pegasus led by Dr. Wendy Lawson, a figure who believed in Carol's abilities even though women were not allowed to fly in combat missions at that time. When testing Lawson's super light-speed engine, their aircraft was shot down by a Kree ship and crashed in a fatal incident.

In a dying condition, Carol shot the aircraft's core reactor to prevent it from falling into Kree hands. The explosion nearly killed her, erased her memories, and instead implanted mysterious energy into her body. She was then taken to the planet Hala by Yon-Rogg, the Kree commander, and was saved with a Kree blood transfusion at the order of the Supreme Intelligence. Since then, Carol was trained to become a member of the elite Starforce and was given a new name, Vers, an emotionless warrior ready to become a weapon of the Kree Empire.

As a human-Kree hybrid, Vers possesses physical powers far beyond those of ordinary humans. She is faster, stronger, and much more resilient. The cosmic energy within her comes from the Tesseract that contains the Space Stone, giving her the ability to manipulate energy on a large scale. Initially, her powers were limited by the Photon Inhibitor, but when she fully became Captain Marvel, Carol was able to stop missile attacks, defeat former Starforce allies, and single-handedly push back Ronan's fleet.

Even after years of living as Vers, dreams of her past continued to haunt her. When the Starforce mission turned out to be a trap, she was captured by the Skrulls and her memories were probed by Talos. Vers managed to escape, fell to Earth, and dramatically landed in a Blockbuster Video. It was there that she met Nick Fury and Phil Coulson, who initially doubted the story of the Skrull invasion until they were directly attacked.

Carol's journey to discover her true identity brought her back to Project Pegasus, where she met Lawson's cat named Goose, and eventually visited Maria Rambeau's home. There, Carol's memories slowly returned. She realized that the Skrulls were actually refugees being hunted by the Kree, and Dr. Lawson is a Kree rebel who is trying to help them find a new home. The fact that Yon-Rogg was behind Lawson's accident and death makes Carol fully aware of her past.

In Lawson's space laboratory, Carol finally frees herself from the control of the Supreme Intelligence, fully embracing her powers, and defeats Starforce. Goose turns out to be a Flerken alien that safely stores the Tesseract. Carol, in a new costume that rejects her old identity as a Kree soldier, destroys Ronan's missile and forces him to retreat. She also defeats Yon-Rogg with a single cosmic blast before sending him back to Hala.

After that incident, Carol promises to help Talos and the Skrulls find a new planet. She leaves Earth again, but ensures that Nick Fury can contact her via a special pager in case of emergencies.

Years later, after surviving Thanos's snap, Captain Marvel receives an emergency signal from Fury. She finds the universe in disarray and half of all life gone. On Earth, he meets the remaining Avengers and helps save Tony Stark and Nebula by bringing the Guardians' ship back to the Avengers' headquarters. His arrival marks a new hope amidst the great sorrow enveloping the heroes.
