Complete Recap of MONEY HEIST Season 2 Robbery Action Continuation

1.Intentionally Exposed by The Professor

The end of MONEY HEIST season 1 shows their Training House being exposed and under police investigation.In that scene, The Professor is seen in a police car with Raquel and other police officers investigating the house.

At the beginning of season 2, it is finally revealed that The Professor himself exposed the house they used to plan the robbery.The goal is to buy time for the police for 3 days so that the robbers in the money printing building can print more money.

2.Restlessness of the Robbers

Inside the money printing building, the robbers start to become restless. They are worried about the actions to be taken next, because The Professor has not contacted them for almost more than 18 hours. Some of them started to assume that The Professor has been arrested by the police. This further unsettles Tokyo, who thinks they are in trouble.

3. Stockholm Syndrome

Behind the anxiety, Berlin assures that there is nothing to worry about. However, not all members accept this. They consider that Berlin has been infected with Stockholm Syndrome, which is the affection between hostages and perpetrators. They believe that Berlin's closeness to the hostage named Ariadna clouds Berlin's judgment.

Denver, who previously saved Monica, also experiences the same syndrome. When successfully holding The Professor hostage, it turns out that The Professor was not alone. Finally, Raquel was defeated and held hostage there. Unfortunately, Raquel's phone was successfully tapped by the police, which revealed The Professor's hiding place.

17. Berlin Becomes a Hero

The police finally took action. They began to advance and ambush the money printing building after receiving information from Berlin, who was released as a hostage. With clear information, the police quickly entered the building and headed to the location of the tunnel that would be used to escape.

Berlin, who knew about this, ordered his members to bring as much money as possible while he and Ariadna held the police. A shootout occurred between Berlin and the police. Desperate, Berlin finally sacrificed himself by moving towards the police gunfire to hinder them.

18. Living Happily

The police tried to ambush The Professor and his members from two directions. Unfortunately, both attempts failed. The Professor and his members managed to escape from their hiding place 2 minutes earlier than the arrival of the police.

The Professor then parted ways with Raquel. But when Raquel checked the postcard she received from Salva, also known as The Professor before, she realized that the postcard contained coordinates regarding The Professor's whereabouts after the heist. The coordinates indicated the country of the Philippines. Raquel finally met The Professor again and season 2 of MONEY HEIST ended.

4. Inspiration from Father

Amidst the turmoil inside the building, The Professor is reminded of his past. It is revealed here that the idea of robbing the money printing house originated from The Professor's father named Jesus Marquina. His father, who was also a robber, died while attempting to rob a bank to support his family's needs.

5. Growing Restlessness

The robbers, who are becoming more restless due to the limited time, finally turn on the television to search for news about The Professor. It is seen that The Professor is in their hideout and surrounded by many police officers. The robbers immediately believe that The Professor has been arrested by the police, and Tokyo urges Berlin to give the signal to execute the escape plan.

Berlin rejects Tokyo's proposal, stating that The Professor has not been arrested by the police yet. Berlin is confident that The Professor will contact them according to the plan he had previously designed.

6. Start Splitting

On the brink of uncertainty, Berlin finally held a vote to determine the next course of action. Tokyo, Rio, and Denver chose the escape plan, while Helsinki, Berlin, Moscow, and Nairobi chose to continue their activities according to the plan. With the majority, Berlin decided to proceed with their plan.

Not accepting Berlin's decision, Tokyo, along with Rio and Denver, entered Berlin's room and threatened him. Tokyo threatened to destroy Berlin's drugs and shoot him if Berlin did not change his decision.

Just as Tokyo was about to kill Berlin, Moscow and Nairobi entered the room, stopping Tokyo's action that nearly took Berlin's life.

7. The Professor Starts Moving Again

On the other hand, The Professor is now in a car with Alberto, a forensic expert trusted to bring evidence from The Professor's hideout. Alberto turns out to be Raquel's ex-husband. Knowing this, throughout the journey The Professor tried to make Alberto angry, in order to have the opportunity to get rid of the evidence that Alberto brought.

The Professor knows that Alberto is a hot-tempered person because Raquel divorced Alberto due to the violence case committed by Alberto against Raquel. From there, The Professor understands that eventually Alberto gets angry and invites him to fight. Unfortunately, the fight causes The Professor to be detained for allegedly attacking an officer.

8. Tokyo is Discarded, Rio is Unacceptable

Because of her rebellion, Tokyo is finally captured by Helsinki under Berlin's orders. Tokyo is tied to a wheeled table and thrown out of the money printing building. Immediately, the police guarding the building rush to capture Tokyo and interrogate her.

Rio, who apparently loves Tokyo, is not accepting of Berlin's actions. Rio intends to leave the money printing building even though his action is stopped by Berlin. Rio was drugged by Berlin to prevent him from taking any further reckless actions.

9.Rio Almost Died

The Professor, who was previously considered to have attacked the police, has now been released by Raquel. This means that The Professor can now contact his team members who are in the money printing building.

At the same time, Rio woke up from the drug given by Berlin. Feeling angry, Rio frightened the hostages there before being stopped by Berlin. Helsinki, on Berlin's orders, took Rio to the warehouse to be executed. Just before killing Rio, Nairobi and Denver stopped their actions.

10.Nairobi Takes Control

Shortly after the incident with Rio, The Professor finally called them. The Professor was angry with Berlin, asking for his leadership regarding the Tokyo and Rio incidents. But when he was about to explain, Nairobi hit Berlin from behind, making Berlin unconscious.

Then Nairobi took the phone that was connected to The Professor, saying that she is now the one in charge.

11.Arturo Causes Trouble Again

Arturo never stops trying to escape from the money printing building. Now he orders Monica to exchange his toy gun with Denver's real gun. He takes advantage of Denver and Monica's closeness as a way to escape.

Monica, who is scared, agrees to Arturo's request, and now Arturo has Denver's real gun. Arturo uses the gun to threaten Denver to free him from the building. However, Monica witnesses the incident and hits Arturo from behind with a wooden object, saving Denver from Arturo's threat.

Helsinki takes Arturo to the warehouse, attaching a bomb to his body. Helsinki threatens that if Arturo misbehaves again, he will not hesitate to blow up Arturo.

12.Berlin Takes the Lead Again

Berlin, the acting expert, called the media to tell the story from the perspective of the robbers. In order to gain sympathy from the Spanish citizens, Berlin recounts the incidents they experienced. Not only that, they also show the dead body of Oslo who was shot by the police, and also release the hostages that are present.

After the incident with Arturo, Berlin takes the lead of these robbers again because he is considered to be more decisive in solving problems.

13.Police Hoax News

To lure The Professor out of hiding, the police released false news stating that Angel Rubio has regained consciousness from his coma. Angel Rubio, who knows The Professor's identity, becomes The Professor's target in order to protect his identity.

True enough, The Professor immediately goes to the hospital where Angel Rubio is. By inviting clowns to the hospital, The Professor gives a child a doll and instructs them to enter the room where Angel Rubio is supposedly being treated. When the door was opened, all the police immediately pointed their guns at the little boy. The Professor also found out that the news of Angel Rubio waking up was a hoax because there was a camera implanted in the doll that he could access remotely. The police failed to capture The Professor.

14. Raquel Realizes Salva's Identity

Raquel finally found out that Salva's identity was a fake identity created by The Professor to get close to her and the police. Angry, Raquel handcuffed The Professor for interrogation. However, The Professor realized that Raquel was not focused, causing her to faint and escape.

When The Professor was almost getting away, Raquel woke up and pointed her gun at him. She threatened to shoot The Professor if he dared to escape. The Professor continued to walk, and Raquel couldn't shoot him because of her feelings.

15. Tokyo Returns, Moscow Leaves

When Tokyo was about to be transferred to the court, the police car used to transport Tokyo was stopped by The Professor's accomplice. After being freed, Tokyo disguised herself by wearing a police uniform and returned to the money printing building.

Tokyo, who returned to the printing building, was protected by other robbers. Unfortunately, Moscow, who also protected Tokyo's attempt to enter the building, was shot and seriously injured. Unable to get help, Moscow called Monica to give her blessing to her relationship with Denver.

16. Raquel Removed from the Police

Considered colluding with The Professor because of her past closeness to Salva, Raquel was officially removed from the police force. However, that did not stop her from continuing to pursue The Professor. She conducted her own investigation until she finally found The Professor's hiding place.

Without hesitation, Raquel ambushed the place without the help of others.
