Haunted house horror films usually place humans at the center of fear. However, GOOD BOY, the debut work of director Ben Leonberg, offers something truly different. This film presents a chilling story from the perspective of a pet dog, making it one of the most innovative and fresh horror films of the year.
The story centers around Indy, a Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever who moves with his owner, Todd (Shane Jensen), to their family home in the middle of the New Jersey woods. Todd, who suffers from chronic lung disease, hopes that a new life in the countryside will bring peace. However, that peace turns into tension when Indy begins to sense a mysterious presence that the humans in the house cannot explain.
