Starting the year with its horror genre, NIGHT SWIM will be released in theaters on January 5, 2024. NIGHT SWIM is the latest horror film directed by James Wan and Jason Blum through their horror-specialized studios, Atomic Monster and Blumhouse Productions. The film is an adaptation of a short film written by Bryce McGuire and Rod Blackhurst.
 
The story revolves around Ray Waller, a baseball player who is forced to retire due to illness. He decides to move to a new house. The house has a neglected swimming pool and Ray intends to clean and renovate it for use.
 
At first, they are very happy to occupy the new house, especially the children who are thrilled with the swimming pool. But as time goes by, they experience strange and disturbing events. Until they discover the dark secret of the house's past that plunges the Waller family into terrifying terror.

Wyatt Russel plays Ray Waller in this film. Recently starred in the series MONARCH: LEGACY OF MONSTER and received critical acclaim. In 2021, he also joined the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and reportedly he will be cast to reprise the role of Captain America (Chris Evans) in the upcoming Thunderbolt ensemble.
