The story begins when Sophie, an eleven-year-old girl, spends her summer vacation in Turkey with her father, Calum, who is 30 years old and loves her very much. They capture beautiful moments with a MiniDV camera. Despite experiencing signs of depression, Calum tries to hide it from Sophie in order to provide a fun vacation.
Sophie meets a boy named Michael and they form a relationship by playing arcade games. However, Sophie is unaware of her father's struggles. When they go scuba diving, Sophie loses her expensive diving goggles, and Calum pretends not to care, making Sophie feel that her father is disappointed. It turns out, her father is facing personal problems, including depression, work, and finances.
Nevertheless, Sophie still tries to cheer up her father in every way possible to resolve their conflicts quickly. As the holiday approached its end, the relationship between Sophie and Calum improved. They visited a mud bath and celebrated Calum's birthday in an unforgettable way. At the end of the holiday, at the airport, Calum felt a touching moment as he handed over his daughter to her mother.
