A few years ago, Peter Koslow was released early from prison on the condition that he become a confidential informant for the FBI. He successfully infiltrated a Polish crime organization and was ready to provide evidence to take down mafia boss Ryszard "The General" Klimek.

However, the plan was disrupted when his partner, Staszek, killed an undercover police officer. Upon hearing about the incident, the FBI abandoned Koslow, forcing him to confront the General directly.
