Something magical is coming to Disney. After years of telling stories about what happens when characters make a wish upon a star, Disney is finally exploring how that iconic wish star can appear.

In the Kingdom of Rosas, located off the Iberian Peninsula, a 17-year-old girl named Asha feels a darkness that no one else feels towards the ruler of the kingdom, King Magnifico. Asha and her beloved goat venture to the Kingdom of Rosas, where someone's desires can come true. 

Asha herself is an idealistic and intelligent figure. In the Kingdom of Rosas, Asha must confront the toughest enemy, King Magnifico. She tries to prove that when the desires of a brave human are combined with the magic of the stars, amazing things can happen.

2. Evil Emerges in Rosas

This ultimately leads her to passionately make a request to the stars when needed. Shortly after, a real star from the sky named Star answers Asha's wish. 

After the star falls from the sky, it is revealed that the star possesses magical powers to grant wishes as well. Together, Asha and Star must overcome the evil that emerges in Rosas and fight for a better future to obtain something more beautiful than what they already have and to make all dreams come true for the people of Rosas.

The film Wish is directed by Chris Buck, who previously worked on the first and second films of Frozen. The screenplay for this film is written by Jennifer Lee, who has also written the screenplay for Wreck it Ralph (2012) and Frozen (2013).
