Disney+ Japan has released a drama for global viewers titled BECAUSE WE FORGET EVERYTHING. Adapted from the essay by renowned Japanese writer, Moegara, this drama will take viewers on a mystery of a woman's disappearance on Halloween night.

M (Hiroshi Abe), a mystery writer, discovers that his girlfriend has gone missing. After being in a relationship for 5 years, his girlfriend named F mysteriously disappears. M then sets out to find her. Throughout his search, M uncovers many of his girlfriend's deepest secrets.

BECAUSE WE FORGET EVERYTHING invites viewers to question whether they truly know the people around them. Take a glimpse at the bitter and mature romantic drama scenes in this series.

Airing on Disney+ starting from September 14, BECAUSE WE FORGET EVERYTHING immediately opens with the mystery of M's (Hiroshi Abe) missing girlfriend, named F.Adapted from the essay by renowned Japanese writer, this drama not only entertains but also presents many essential questions about life.

So mysterious, this drama has not revealed who plays the character F, the missing girlfriend. In the trailer, only a woman dressed as Catwoman is shown leaving a costume party.

The search for his girlfriend begins. M tries to find her whereabouts with the help of friends around him. "It's interesting to explore the character of M because at the beginning of the story, he already has to lose his girlfriend," said Hiroshi Abe.

The director also revealed that this drama will take viewers to corners of Tokyo that have not been widely exposed in series or films.

Main actor Hiroshi Abe, Chara, Kankuro Kudo, and director Yukiko Sode attended a global press conference virtually to give interesting hints about this drama.

Hiroshi Abe joked that he was very fitting to portray the character in this drama. "I am not too concerned about myself. It feels right to portray a character who is not concerned about themselves or others. A mystery story writer," he joked at the beginning of the press conference.

Revealed in the press conference, director Yukiko tried several approaches at once to maximize the characterization of the characters and also strengthen the storyline.
