Disney+ Hotstar Announces a Series of New Content from Korea to Indonesia, including 'Crazy Love' to 'Jurnal Risa'

Kapanlagi.com - Good news for film lovers. Recently, The Walt Disney Company announced a series of its latest content from various genres that will soon be available for customers in the Asia Pacific region through Disney+ Hotstar.

As we know, the Korean fever is still prevalent in Indonesia and the world. Based on that fact, Disney+ is presenting a series of Korean content from various genres, such as Big Mouth, Crazy Love, and more than 20 other new titles, of which 12 are Original content.

The announcement also follows the success of previous Disney+ Hotstar content that has been aired in the past few months, such as Grid, Snowdrop, Rookie Cops, Outrun by Running Man, and BLACKPINK THE MOVIE. Since its premiere in mid-December, Snowdrop has become one of the top five most-watched shows on Disney+ in most of the Asia Pacific region (including Disney+ Hotstar). Snowdrop also ranks second for the most-watched series in Indonesia, Malaysia, and Thailand.

1. A Series of Indonesian Content Will be Available on Disney+ Hotstar

This year, Disney+ Hotstar is also adding a series of content from Southeast Asia, including Wedding Agreement The Series, Jurnal Risa, Keluarga Cemara The Series, and Teluh Darah.

In March, Disney+ Hotstar subscribers can watch the latest series Wedding Agreement The Series, which is adapted from the bestselling novel and film of the same title. This series will premiere on Disney+ Hotstar in Indonesia, Malaysia, and Thailand.

Another interesting addition is Jurnal Risa from Risa Saraswati's Danur Horror Universe. As we know, the horror genre is widely loved by film enthusiasts, both in Indonesia and worldwide.

"One thing I want to emphasize is that we want to promote something that is already great within us. Horror is a very popular genre in Indonesia and a genre that can spread widely. In addition to Risa's Journal, The Cemara Family Series, which is a spin-off series from the 1996 TV show and the 2019 feature film, is currently being prepared and in the production process. The Teluh Darah series by veteran director Kimo Stamboel has also completed the production phase and can be watched soon on Disney+ Hotstar.

The content announced today is the latest shows and is The Walt Disney Company's commitment to provide the best stories for customers, especially through locally-produced content from across the Asia Pacific region.
