Last Monday (29/4), Walt Disney Studios officially released the first teaser trailer for the live-action MUFASA: THE LION KING. This film is a prequel to THE LION KING which was released in 2019, adapted from the animated version of THE LION KING 1994.

MUFASA: THE LION KING is directed by Barry Jenkins and written by Jeff Nathanson. This film features the voice cast from the original film as well as new voice cast members, such as Blue Ivy Carter, who is the eldest daughter of Beyonce.

MUFASA: THE LION KING tells the story of Mufasa's childhood and his various adventures, and how he eventually becomes the king of Pride Lands. The film also delves deeper into Mufasa's childhood spent with his brother, Taka, who will later be known as Scar and become his main enemy in the future.
