In the brief snippet, it is seen that the corners of Elmore City are covered in thick dust while Gumball and Darwin are sound asleep. Soon after, the two main characters of the Cartoon Network animation wake up to the sound of an alarm ringing.

Gumball, the character who first opens his eyes, clears the dust around him with a deep sneeze and then asks how long he and Darwin have been lost in dreamland. The orange fish character with human-like legs accidentally knocks over his digital clock upon realizing that they have been asleep for seven years.

Both Gumball and Darwin become hysterical with the soft voice typical of someone just waking up: they are late for school. Although they are late, the blue cat-designed character suggests going back to sleep for five more minutes before heading out.

The ending credit used again displays the original title and logo of the cartoon THE AMAZING WORLD OF GUMBALL. However, suddenly the screen is taken over by a glitch that then reveals the new identity of the cartoon: THE WONDERFULLY WEIRD WORLD OF GUMBALL.
