Superman looks upset, angry, hurt, in need of advice, and appears to be in pain in his latest trailer released on Thursday (15/5). This side is rarely shown in the wide-screen version as his character is already closely associated with the label "man of steel".

For those who are not familiar with Superman, this fictional superhero was created by the duo Joe Shuster (illustrator) and Jerry Siegel (writer) in 1933. Throughout the history of his comic and film creation, Superman is depicted as a man with extraordinary physical strength and equally remarkable heroic and patriotic attitudes.

James Gunn (director) has worked on his latest film, which will be released in July 2025. From its final trailer, viewers can see what Gunn's touch brings to this iconic American superhero.

The trailer opens with a conversation between Lois Lane and Clark Kent / Superman. Lois is challenged because she has the opportunity to interview Superman directly. As a skilled journalist, Lois bombards Clark with tough questions ranging from politics to law.

Faced with questions that doubt his choices when acting, Superman can't help but feel annoyed and angry. In this early scene, it is already evident what James Gunn's treatment allows Superman to show emotions like an ordinary person.
