2. Who is the Antagonist in THE MARVELS?

The villain in THE MARVELS is a mysterious character with a strong connection to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Zawe Ashton was chosen to portray this character in early 2021, and it has been confirmed that she will play the main antagonist in this film. This character is reported to be a version of a relatively unknown Marvel character named Dar-Benn, an Accuser from the Kree Empire who is determined to reclaim his homeland and seek revenge against Carol Danvers. 

A glimpse of this character's appearance in the THE MARVELS trailer shows that she is indeed a Kree Accuser. They are an elite military unit for the Kree Empire that appeared in GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY and CAPTAIN MARVEL. The reason to believe that the character Zawe Ashton is a Kree Accuser comes from the hammer she is seen holding. Ronan the Accuser, portrayed by Lee Pace, previously used one of those weapons in GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY.

3. The Return of Monica Rambeau in the MCU
