Trailer 'THE CONJURING' LAST RITES', The End of Ed and Lorraine Warren's Story?

Warner Bros released the trailer for THE CONJURING: LAST RITES on July 31, 2025. The trailer has garnered tens of millions of views at the time this news was published.

The trailer opens with Ed Warren (Patrick Wilson) reflecting on his long journey with his wife, Lorraine (Vera Farmiga), in handling over a thousand supernatural cases.

Flashback snippets showcase various artifacts, such as the Annabelle doll and the painting of Valak, which immediately evoke a chilling atmosphere.

In the trailer, Lorraine & Ed Warren mention that they are now facing the most dangerous case of their careers. They investigate the Smurl Case of 1986, where a family in West Pittston, Pennsylvania, claims their lives have been haunted by an evil entity for over ten years.

Ed and Lorraine are asked to investigate the supernatural disturbance, which involves four entities, including one main demon that turns out to have a past connection with the Warren couple, a figure they have been trying to avoid all this time.
