Zac Efron Stars in Disney's Remake of 'THREE MEN AND A BABY'

Kapanlagi.com - In 2018, it was reported that Disney would remake the 80s comedy film titled THREE MEN AND A BABY. Finally, the film has confirmed one of its male lead actors, Zac Efron. This former Disney celebrity has signed a contract to become one of the main actors in this film.

Zac Efron is no stranger to Disney lovers. The 32-year-old actor's name skyrocketed thanks to the world's largest entertainment and media company, Disney. Zac Efron started to be known when he starred in the Disney series HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL at the age of 18. In the series, he played the role of Troy Bolton. It was in that series that he formed a relationship with Vanessa Hudgens, who is now his ex-girlfriend.

After Disney, he tried to expand his career by starring in several films. Some famous films he successfully starred in include BAYWATCH, NEIGHBORS, THE LUCKY ONE, THE GREATEST SNOWMAN, and his latest film EXTREMELY WICKED, SHOCKINGLY EVIL AND VILE with actress Lily Collins. Its mature appearance now, erasing the impression of Disney's teenage image. 

The film THREE MEN AND A BABY is a comedy film from 1987 directed by Leonard Nimoy. This film is also a remake of a French film titled TROIS HOMMES ET UN COUFFIN. Starring Tom Selleck, Steve Guttenberg, and Ted Danson as three bachelors in New York City who live successful lives. The lives of the three men change when they receive a small package containing a baby. All their pleasures are eventually replaced by taking care of the baby. This film successfully became Disney's first live-action film to reach $100 million at the domestic box office.

The remake of the film THREE MEN AND A BABY will be produced by Gordon Grey and Will Reichel will be the scriptwriter. It is not yet known who will be the director of this film. So far, the confirmed news from Disney is only one of the main cast members, Zac Efron.

Currently, it is not known how the story will be taken by Disney, whether it will follow the original story or make changes to the plot. Fans of this old film will certainly choose to reminisce with the old story, but changes since 1987 will also be an interesting story with a more modern storyline. Zac Efron will certainly be one of the attractions, but how successful this film will be may depend on who will be his co-stars.
