1THE9 Graduates from UNDER 19 Survival Show Will Disband in August, Fans Sad

Kapanlagi.com - 1THE9 is a K-Pop idol group formed from the MBC UNDER 19 survival show. Doyun, Jinsung, Taewoo, Yechan, Taekhyeon, Yongha, Sungwon, Seunghwan, and Junseo are the top 9 finalists who finally debuted as 1THE9 on April 13, 2019.

Like most survival show-formed groups, 1THE9 is also a temporary group, meaning they are not permanent. This group, under the management of MBK Entertainment, only signed a contract for 17 months.

1. Extended Due to Pandemic

According to Allkpop, several official K-Pop sources announced on July 23 that 1THE9 will disband soon, specifically on August 8, 2020. Apparently, this designated date has exceeded the initial plan for the disbandment of 1THE9.

Originally, 1THE9 was scheduled to disband on July 8. However, due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, this group had to postpone their comeback schedule and activities.

2. Final Comeback

Before the official announcement of their disbandment, 1THE9 released their 3rd mini album, Turn Over, on July 16, 2020. According to official documents, each member will go their separate ways after completing the promotions for Turn Over.

However, in cases where there are still schedules related to the promotion of Turn Over after August 8, 1THE9 will still be present to finish them.

3. Sad Fans

Although it is known that this group is only temporary, fans are still sad to accept the fact that their favorite group will soon separate. They pray that all 1THE9 members continue their career as idols and promise to continue supporting them.
