VANK participated in Kapanlagi Korea Festival and shared many experiences.
Kapanlagi.com - One of the dreams of many K-Drama and K-Pop fans is to be able to travel to South Korea to breathe the same air as their idols. Unfortunately, during this pandemic, we can't go there yet. Voluntary Agency Network of Korea (VANK) happened to be present at Kapanlagi Korean Festival Day 1, Saturday (25/7/2020), represented by Park Gi Tae and Shin Ji Won.
They explained the current situation in South Korea during the pandemic and also suggested what tourist attractions can be visited once this difficult time is over. Not only spreading Korean culture to the world, VANK also helps raise awareness about COVID-19 by creating campaigns such as making yellow-colored masks distributed in Europe.

For those planning to visit South Korea after this pandemic, Shin Ji Won suggests some cool places in the country. It's not just Seoul, there are other areas that can be visited too.
"There are many places to visit in Seoul, such as Han River, palaces, Busan, and Jeju Island. There are beautiful landscapes there. Korea is the third largest archipelago country in the world after Indonesia. If you have the opportunity to go to Korea, you can also visit Dokdo Island. You can also visit Korea in various seasons, such as cherry blossoms in spring, and there are many colors in each season," explained Shin Ji Won.
VANK never stops promoting South Korea to various countries. They have been to various countries such as the United States, China, and Indonesia. They even have fond memories of their visit to Indonesia. VANK visited Taman Mini, Surabaya, and Jakarta Korean School when they were here.
"We met Korean friends and were invited to the Korean embassy in Indonesia, and we met TeKo. We also met friends at the University of Indonesia to share information about Korean culture and history. For me, it was amazing to meet friends from Indonesia. I also love Indonesian food. I will never forget the moment of visiting Indonesia because that's when I could participate in the Korea Festival," said Ji Won, who admitted wanting to learn a lot about Jogjakarta's culture.
For those who love K-Pop, K-Drama, and want to learn more about Korean culture and make friends from South Korea, you can join VANK. You can visit chingu.prkorea.com to do so. You can join an academic course to learn about Korea. Or you can also follow their Instagram @vank_prkorea.
Always be successful, VANK! Thank you for livening up the Kapanlagi Korean Festival!
