Boy Group X1 Officially Disbanded, Some Members Speak Up and Apologize to Fans

1. X1 Officially Disbanded

On Monday (6/1/2020) yesterday, several agencies involved in the X1 group issued a statement regarding the official disbandment of the group.

"Hello. This is Play M Entertainment, Yuehua Entertainment, TOP Media, OUI Entertainment, MBK Entertainment, Woolim Entertainment, DSP Media, Starship Entertainment, and Brand New Music," as known, X1 was formed with members from various agencies.

"The X1 members and each agency have negotiated under agreed conditions, but we were unable to reach an agreement, so we have decided to disband them," they concluded.

2. Members Speak Out

Shortly after the official disbandment, some members who were part of X1 spoke out. They are Nam Do Hyun and Lee Hangyul, who are part of the MBK Entertainment agency.

Through social media, they uploaded separate videos. Nam Do Hyun and Lee Hangyul apologized and thanked the fans.
