Former PRODUCE 101 Trainees Reveal Dark Experiences During the Show

AleXa once shared her experience participating in the PRODUCE 48 program. She exposed the shooting duration which took almost a whole day and night.

For the first episode, shooting took place for 24 hours with short breaks. The shooting continued from 8 AM until 3 AM the next day.

Go Yujin also revealed her experience in the same show, where she was actually forced to participate in PRODUCE 48 if she didn't want to be sent back by the agency.

But in reality, it was in vain, because Yujin truly felt that this Mnet show was manipulated. The production team had already planned who would be highlighted on camera, so no matter what she did, she would not be noticed.

Kathy Lee, who was a trainee in the first season of PRODUCE 101, revealed that participating in this show made her realize that the entertainment industry is full of deceit.

With conviction, Kathy stated that this show was indeed manipulated, and even tears and bullying were all staged just to gain attention.

Lee Insoo, who joined Produce 101 season 2, revealed that there were no public auditions at all. Instead, CJ E&M directly selected the trainees.

According to him, the casting director is paid based on the trainees' performance and how long they last on the show.

Jung Dongsu, who is also on the show, exposed another manipulation. He revealed that there were actually two trainees who helped other dance trainees, but one of them was edited to make it seem like they did nothing.

Seeing this firsthand, Jung Dongsu is convinced that there is manipulation behind it.

Lee Haein has participated in Produce 101 and also Idol School, which although not part of Produce 101, is still an Mnet show.

During her participation in idol school, she revealed that the facilities provided were very inadequate. Her living space had poor ventilation and unpleasant smells. Many trainees developed skin diseases. There was even an underage trainee who tried to escape through the window.
