The plot of this film is related to Yuta Okkotsu, whose childhood friend Rika died in a traffic accident. Rika haunts Yuta as a powerful yet uncontrollable curse, drawing the attention of Jujutsu Sorcerers, including Saturo Gojo.

While Yuta is at the point of expecting his own death due to the curse and the danger it poses to others, Gojo offers the teenager a chance to enroll as a student at Jujutsu High. This is where he meets several characters from the main series.
