GOT7 is back to greet fans with the mini album Winter Heptagon and the NESTFEST concert held after six years of hiatus. Through a press release, GOT7 collaborates with Kakao Entertainment to produce their mini album, Winter Heptagon. The title track is titled Phyton, composed by Bambam, and it will be released coinciding with their 11th anniversary on January 20, 2025.
According to The Korea Times, GOT7 will hold a concert titled NESTFEST for two days at the Olympic Handball Gymnasium in Seoul, on February 1 and 2, 2025. This concert is a highly anticipated moment for fans, considering it is their first concert in 6 years.
Held at a venue with a capacity of 6,500 spectators, fans from various countries had to fight to get tickets. Extraordinary enthusiasm was evident when a fan shared a photo showing them in the 50,000th position in line to buy tickets for this concert.
The GOT7 concert offers two ticket categories for fans: VIP priced at 198,000 won or Rp 2,224,213 and General at 154,000 won or Rp 1,729,943. This difference provides options for Ahgase to enjoy the concert experience according to their preferences.
Some fans found that GOT7 concert tickets were being resold by scalpers at prices much higher than the official price. General section tickets that were originally priced at 198,000 won are now being sold starting from 350,000 won (Rp 3,931,690), while VIP section tickets have reached a fantastic figure of 3,000,000 won (Rp 33,700,200)!
Many fans complained about this on social media X, and it caught BamBam's attention. A day after the ticket sale, he posted a tweet on X to express the fans' disappointment. "I will do anything, don't worry too much Ahgase!"
On January 19, the official GOT7 account posted an announcement stating that the organizers of the NESTFEST concert are committed to taking firm action against any form of fraud. This step is taken to protect the rights of fans who have long awaited their favorite boy group's concert.
They are also monitoring through an internal system to detect suspicious activity in the purchase of concert tickets. Tickets that are indicated as fraudulent may be canceled and strict identity verification will be conducted when picking up tickets and entering the venue.
