Jeon Somi and Daehwi AB6IX reveal their friendship, initially feeling uncomfortable with each other

Kapanlagi.com - As known, Jeon Somi and Daehwi AB6IX are two close friends who always show their closeness to the public. Both of them are former trainees from JYP Entertainment and have participated in the survival reality show PRODUCE 101. They started their friendship when they were in Cheongdam Middle School.

Currently, both of them are busy with various activities as idols. On one occasion, Somi and Daehwi had an interview on COCA-COLA JOURNEY CARPOOL. They shared the story of their long-lasting friendship.

1. At First, They Didn't Like Each Other

They started their friendship since middle school and until now they have known each other well. Somi admitted that her first impression of Daehwi made her uncomfortable. She said that at that time, Daehwi was a shy and quiet transfer student from America.

Meanwhile, Daehwi admitted that Somi used to be someone who was difficult to approach. She seemed more mature and like a boss in class.

In the show, the host also challenged their closeness. When asked about each other's birthdays, they both answered correctly. Somi was born on March 9, 2001, while Daehwi was born on January 29, 2001.

2. Now Like Siblings

They also shared stories of their close relationship like siblings. Daehwi considers Somi as his biggest supporter throughout his career. She can be a comforting presence when Daehwi is stressed in his life as an idol.

Their friendship even has the nickname 'National Friendship' because they were both in a group formed by the votes of South Korean citizens. They have also worked together on a project to promote a soda drink.
