LOONA Teaser Photo Found Edited to Look Slimmer, Fans Criticize Agency Severely

Kapanlagi.com - BlockBerry Creative, the agency of LOONA, shared their daily teaser before the release of their new mini album titled [12:00] less than two weeks ago. However, the latest LOONA teaser received negative feedback from fans as it was found to be edited.

The latest [12:00] teaser shows all LOONA members except Haseul, who is currently in mental health recovery, posing sitting on the field. The teaser photo, which features bright-colored clothes, balloons, and bubble rain with a fun concept, appeared normal before fans discovered something was wrong.

1. Slim Waist

If you look closely, there is something strange behind Chuu's back in this teaser photo. All the other bubbles in the photo are naturally round, but many bubbles around Chuu's waist clearly appear to be curved into oval shapes.

Seeing this obvious manipulation, fans concluded that this photo was edited to make Chuu's waist appear slimmer. A fan even reversed the edited photo and showed that Chuu's body is already slim and beautiful even without any alterations.

2. Starving Due to Diet

This edited teaser photo is not the first instance where Orbits have discovered BlockBerry Creative's treatment of Chuu's body image. Earlier this year, Chuu caused fans to worry during a live broadcast where she revealed that the members were starving during the filming of LOONA yyxy.

They had to remember the locations of food within walking distance so they could sneak out to eat. They also had to hide snacks under pillows, in trash cans, and other places to avoid being caught by staff. What's worse, the LOONA members even searched for leftover food at the filming locations to satisfy their hunger.

3. Edited Face

In a 2019 interview, Chuu told fans that she considered herself too round. Although she said she liked her face, she admitted to being jealous of the sharp features of other LOONA members.

Unfortunately, some fans also believe that BlockBerry Creative has edited the faces of LOONA members in teasers, including Chuu's face. In the end, fans say that editing the photos of LOONA is unnecessary and potentially dangerous for both the members themselves and young fans who are easily influenced. Orbits have asked BlockBerry Creative to stop manipulating LOONA's photos, but there has been no response.
