Love Letter in the New York Sky for Jungkook BTS, Written by Five Airplanes

Kapanlagi.com - Jungkook BTS recently celebrated his 23rd birthday (or 24th in the Korean age system) on September 1st. Like other K-Pop idols, fans have surely prepared a number of gifts or special events to celebrate the golden maknae's birthday.

As reported by Allkpop, Jungkook's fanbase in China, Baidu JEON JUNGKOOK Bar or better known as JungkookCHINA, prepared several special events for their idol. Just for this year, they created 31 projects including a KTX train with Jungkook's picture, fireworks in Heundae, a jumbo-sized LED in Milan, and the Brick Lane Mural in London.

1. Love Letter Project

One of the other projects that ARMYs around the world have been waiting for is LOVE LETTER IN THE SKY, which took place in New York Harbor, United States, specifically in the sky with a view of the Statue of Liberty. This project is an Aerial Advertising Campaign that uses skytyping technology or writing in the sky.

Five aircraft flown by professional pilots worked together to release smoke that formed a birthday message for Jungkook in the sky. The message was written using computerized choreography.

2. Impressive Creation

There were three special messages for Jungkook written at an altitude of 1,200 feet, with a total length of 8 kilometers, including JUNGKOOK DAY and YOU ARE MY EUPHORIA. Due to the special writing technique used, these messages for Jungkook could be seen even in the Brooklyn area of New York. Even non-ARMYs were amazed by it.

ARMYs gathered to witness this project, but they maintained distance according to health protocols. Those lucky enough to see this moment recorded and shared it on social media.
