I.O.I or Ideal of Idol is a music group consisting of 11 members. I.O.I itself is a group from the survival program called PRODUCE 101 which aired in 2016. The participants who took part in the program were 101 trainees from different agencies.

Out of the 101 participants, only 11 talented individuals were chosen to debut. They are Na Young, Chung Ha, Se Jeong, Chae Yeon, Jie Qiong, So Hye, Yeon Jung, Yoo Jung, Mi Na, Do Yeon, and Somi. They were then debuted as a music group called I.O.I under the management of YMC Entertainment and CJ E&M on May 4, 2016.

I.O.I is considered very popular. They have hit songs such as Dream Girls, Whatta Man, and Very Very Very. Unfortunately, I.O.I couldn't last long. 1. Na Young

The woman who is nicknamed Stone Nayoung has decided to return to her original agency, Pledis Entertainment. In 2017, Na Young debuted as the leader of a music group called PRISTIN.

Unfortunately, this music group did not last long. In May 2019, PRISTIN disbanded and their contract with Pledis Entertainment ended. After leaving her old agency, she signed a contract with a new agency, Sublime Artist Agency, in August 2019.

2. Chung Ha

Unlike Na Young, Chung Ha chose to continue her career as a solo singer. She made a comeback by releasing a song called "Why Don't You Know" in 2017. Chung Ha can be considered successful with her solo career, as seen from her hit songs like Gotta Go, Roller Coaster, and Snapping.

Currently, Chung Ha is in her new agency, M&H Entertainment. Her latest released song is titled Bycycle, which is sure to be a hit like her other songs.

3. Se Jeong

A woman named Kim Se Jeong is back focusing on her original group, Gugudan, under Jellyfish Entertainment. Se Jeong is also actively involved in her sub-unit group, SeMiNa, along with Mina and Nayoung from Gugudan.

Not only does Se Jeong sing, but she also actively appears on several variety shows due to her friendly and intelligent nature. She has also ventured into the acting world, as evidenced by her participation in the famous drama, School 2017.

4. Chae Yeon

The decision made by this visual of I.O.I after the group disbanded is to return to her original group, DIA, under the agency MBK Entertainment. Not only does she continue her career in the music industry, but she also starts to venture into the acting world. The dramas she has starred in include My First Love 1&2, Marry Me Now, and Reunited Worlds.

5. Jie Qiong

The only non-Korean member chose to return to her original agency, Pledis Entertainment, just like Na Young. She debuted with Na Young in the group PRISTIN. She was also part of the sub-unit Pristin V in 2018.

Unlike Na Young, this woman, who is also affectionately called Kyulkyung, chose to stay with Pledis Entertainment. Now she is actively appearing in various Chinese variety shows.

6. So Hye

Unlike the other members, So Hye chose to continue her career in the acting world. After the disbandment of I.O.I, she started starring in many films and dramas. The titles of the films and dramas she starred in are Queen of the Ring, Poetry Story, Society Obsessed with Love, Ambergris, and many more.

7. Yeon Jung

After leaving I.O.I, known as Cider Vocal, she made her debut again as the thirteenth member of the group WJSN. Yeon Jung also frequently participates in providing soundtracks for various dramas. She is currently under Starship Entertainment.

8. Yoo Jung

Just like some other members, Yoo Jung decided to return to her original agency, Fantagio Entertainment, and debuted as a member of the group Weki Meki. Yoo Jung is also active in WJMK, a sub-unit of Weki Meki and WJSN. Yoo Jung also often appears on several variety shows.

9. Mi Na

Mina debuted in the same group as Se Jeong, which is Gugudan. She also started her acting career by starring in several dramas, one of which is the famous drama, Hotel Del Luna. Mi Na also participated as an MC in a weekly music show with Hyunjin Stray Kids and Chani SF9.

10. Do Yeon

Another member who debuted in the music group Weki Meki besides Yoo Jung is Do Yeon. She is also part of the same sub-unit, WJMK. Do Yeon has also started her acting career like the other members. She has starred in short dramas and is also active as a model.

11. Somi

After the disbandment of I.O.I, Somi briefly returned to her original agency, JYP Entertainment. Eventually, in 2018, she left the agency and signed a contract with her new agency, The Black Label, owned by Teddy Park.

In 2019, Somi started her solo singing career by releasing a song titled Birthday. Her captivating visuals and great singing and dancing talents made her songs become hits.
