NCT 127 Releases 7th Album on August 24, Celebrates 10 Years Since Debut

This comeback will mark NCT 127's first studio album release in nearly two years since they presented Walk in July 2024. The album will also coincide with the celebration of the group's decade-long journey since their debut in 2016.

According to MyDaily reports, NCT 127's seventh full album will officially be released on August 24, 2026. This release marks their first studio album after Walk, which is their sixth full album launched in July 2024.

The nearly two-year hiatus has made this comeback highly anticipated by fans. The release of this new album will also be one of the group's activities during their 10th year since debuting NCT 127.

2. Five Members Participate in the Comeback

The same report states that the latest album from NCT 127 will feature Johnny, Taeyong, Yuta, Jaehyun, and Haechan. The presence of these five members will lead the comeback for NCT 127's seventh full album.

Taeyong and Jaehyun have completed their mandatory military service and are back to participate in group activities. Meanwhile, Doyoung and Jungwoo are still serving their mandatory military service and have not participated in this comeback.

3. New Activities After Military Service

NCT 127 will enter a group activity hiatus in April 2024 when Taeyong begins his military service. After completing his duties in the Navy, Taeyong will rejoin the group. Jaehyun has also completed his service in the Army's military band.

Since their debut in 2016, NCT 127 has been known for their "NEO" musical identity that combines experimental concepts and strong stage performances.

Previously, Walk successfully extended NCT 127's record by achieving seven consecutive albums with million seller status. The album also earned the group three trophies on Korean music programs.
