On Tuesday (27/5/2025), social media was abuzz with romance rumors linking him to model and actress Kang Seung Hyun. This issue immediately drew the attention of fans, especially since the two had previously worked together on a film project.
In response to the rumors, Jung Jun Won's agency firmly provided clarification. "The rumor that Jung Jun Won is dating Kang Seung Hyun is not true," said the agency.
They explained that the two indeed know each other, but their relationship is limited to friendship after being brought together during the filming process of the movie 'Believer'.
Previously, claims arose in the online community stating that Jung Jun Won and Kang Seung Hyun have been in a relationship for three years. This suspicion was reinforced by several photos showing them in the same location, wearing hats and shirts with similar designs.
However, the agency reiterated that all these speculations are unfounded. Jung Jun Won and Kang Seung Hyun indeed acted together in the film Believer and its sequel, Believer 2, which made their closeness visible to the public, but it is nothing more than a professional relationship and friendship.
Kang Seung Hyun, who is also known by the name Hyoni Kang, started acting in 2018 with the film CHAMPION. He then became more widely known through BELIEVER.
Kang Seung Hyun also starred in the drama PARTNERS FOR JUSTICE SEASON 2, MY HOLO LOVE, and THE CURSED.
