Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin also conveyed the emotional reasons behind their donation, especially as parents.
They said that seeing their child grow up healthy reminds them of less fortunate children.
With this donation, they hope that sick children can recover and live their lives with joy.
The funds will be used for the care of patients from underprivileged backgrounds at Asan Hospital and to support pediatric and obstetric services at Samsung Hospital.
This action shows their sincere concern for children and families in need.
