This calculation is based on the success of the first season of SQUID GAME, which had a production cost of 25 billion won and generated revenue 40 times its initial investment. Using a similar formula, the production of the second season, which costs up to 100 billion won, is projected to yield even greater profits.

2. Denied by Netflix

In response to the report, Netflix firmly denied the revenue estimates published by K EnterTech Hub. In its official statement, Netflix emphasized that the analysis does not reflect the actual facts.

Netflix also explained that as a monthly subscription-based platform, the company does not earn additional revenue from the number of views or the duration of time spent watching content on their platform. This business model makes revenue predictions from specific series irrelevant.
