Under Police Surveillance, Wheesung Found Unconscious in the Bathroom

Kapanlagi.com - The Korean police received a report that a man was found unconscious in the bathroom of a building located in Songpa District, Seoul, on Tuesday night (31/03). Upon arrival at the scene, the police found a plastic bag, several syringes, and a bottle containing liquid.

After confirmation, it turned out that the unconscious man was Wheesung. The singer from Korea was then taken to the local police station to be tested for drugs and the result was negative.

Wheesung was sent home after the police concluded that he used an anesthetic drug that is not classified as illegal. The investigation into this singer's case continued the next day.

As reported by Soompi, news about Wheesung being investigated for alleged propofol drug abuse emerged on March 26, 2020. The investigators have evidence related to this case and have apprehended a dealer.

The police stated that Wheesung used the drug in large quantities. They are also preparing to issue an arrest warrant for the singer of The Heartbreaking Story as soon as possible.

2. Previously Involved in Similar Case

This case had previously occurred in 2013 when Wheesung was serving in the military. He was suspected of using propofol obtained from various sources, including dermatology clinics, regularly from 2011 until early 2013.

Wheesung admitted to using the drug because he suffered from a pinched nerve in his spine and hair loss. On July 10, 2013, he was cleared of the allegations.
