Speculation has developed in the public sphere, particularly after claims emerged about an eel restaurant allegedly owned by Cha Eun Woo's family relocating to the Cheongdam area in Seoul. However, Fantagio, which is Cha Eun Woo's agency, has finally spoken out and emphasized that the circulating information is not entirely accurate, as reported by Sports Donga.

Cha Eun Woo was reported to have received a tax billing notice from the National Tax Service of Korea amounting to around 200 billion won or approximately Rp. This information immediately sparked various speculations and debates among the public.

Public attention then shifted to the eel restaurant "Eojeon Sutbul Jangeo" which previously operated in Ganghwa, Incheon. The restaurant was known to have closed and reappeared in Cheongdam under the name "Eojeon Cheongdam".

According to Fantagio, the restaurant ownership is under the agency's umbrella, while the operational management is handled by Fantagio M. Fantagio M itself is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Fantagio.

Fantagio explained that Cha Eun Woo's family decided to close the restaurant in Ganghwa last year. After that, the company continued to use the same restaurant name for new operations in Cheongdam.
