X1 Officially Disbands, Kim Wooseok Writes a Letter Promising Not to Forget the Fans

As known, this group's debut was recently hit by controversy. This was due to alleged vote rigging and bribery in the Produce X 101 competition.

Now that it's officially disbanded, the members who were involved have spoken up. This time, it's Kim Wooseok who wrote a letter to the fans.

On Tuesday (7/1/2020), Kim Wooseok uploaded a letter that he wrote through the official Twitter account of TOP Media agency. This idol expressed his gratitude to fans and people involved during his time in X1.

"Hello, this is Kim Wooseok. We think the same thoughts and dream the same dreams. Through X1, I learned a lot and had valuable experiences receiving a lot of love from many people," he said.

"When everything I thought was just a dream finally became a reality, you were by my side. Once again, I say thank you," he continued.

2. Thanking X1 Agency

"It is an honor to work with the members of X1 and I will cherish the memories of our time together in my heart for the rest of my life. I ask you to send kind words to the X1 members, with whom I cried, laughed, and spent many days, instead of criticism," said Kim Wooseok.

He also thanked the agency that oversees X1, Swing Entertainment. "I would like to thank the staff members of Swing Entertainment who worked hard on our behalf," he added.

3. Will Never Forget Fans

Through the handwritten letter, Kim Wooseok also revealed that he promised to never forget the fans in ONEIT (X1 fandom name).

"I think I have said this before, even though you will no longer use the name ONEIT, I will never forget you," he promised.

"I have received a lot of love. I have learned a lot. I thought I could give you a lot in return and I regret that I couldn't. I hope people will support me so that I can greet everyone as soon as possible with a new dream," he concluded.
