"Baby I Love You was made together, so musically it has the distinctive characteristics of Repvblik. We only differentiate it in terms of vocals, adding the unique notes of Kang Charly, making it catchy and loved by the Indonesian music community," said Tyar.
In the New Repvblik format, Ruri's position is indeed replaced by Charly Van Houten. Don't misunderstand, their relationship is still good!
"Nowadays, because Ruri is busy with his solo career, why don't we collaborate with Charly? We have a good relationship and he is willing to help us with the project of releasing a single. While it conflicts with Ruri's solo schedule," said Ei.
Joining New Repvblik, Charly who is already a professional still experiences difficulties. So how does Charly respond to the opinions of fans?
"For me, I think we as musicians should respond by continuing to create and Ruri is currently focused on his solo career. Hopefully, we hope that Ruri can join Repvblik again, but we don't know. The main thing is that we want to present the best from New Repvblik for music enthusiasts," said Charly.
According to Charly, his presence is able to unite two fanbases that have a large number with the slogan 'Setia Bersama Repvblik' (Loyal Together with Repvblik).
"And this can be something amazing because the unity of the two fans from big bands can become one phrase, 'Setia Bersama Repvblik' (Loyal Together with Repvblik)," concluded Charly, which was agreed upon by Tyar, Ei, and Lavy.
