Kapanlagi.com - The Japanese rock band, RADWIMPS, released the album "Anew" on October 3, 2025, marking their first new album in 4 years. Along with the album release, RADWIMPS also launched a new music video for the single "World End Girl Friend".

The album "Anew" contains a total of 12 songs, including 10 new songs and two previously released tracks: "Tamamono" (a song for the NHK drama 'Anpan') and "Meidai" (a song for the NTV news program 'News zero'). The 20th Anniversary Special Box features special studio performance recordings, behind-the-scenes clips, and interview sessions with the band members. The box set also includes recordings from RADWIMPS' first arena concert at Yokohama Arena in August 2007, as well as four songs from their set at Fuji Rock Festival 2025 last July.

5. RADWIMPS, a Band from Japan that has Been Active for 20 Years

Formed for the first time in 2001 and debuting in 2005, the Japanese band RADWIMPS, which carries the pop-rock genre, has successfully attracted public attention and gained many fans since their career began at a young age. Despite being active for a long time, RADWIMPS' music is also widely loved by young people.

As of now, RADWIMPS has released nine albums and is increasingly recognized globally through their works, including the soundtrack albums for the animated films by Makoto Shinkai, namely Your Name (Kimi No Na Wa) and Weathering with You. Both works brought RADWIMPS to win the Japanese Academy Award for Best Original Score.
