After a Hiatus, SMVLL Returns with the Latest Song "Sebat Aja Dulu"

Kapanlagi.com - SMVLL, or Deka, is a reggae singer from Lampung who started his career in 2016. Since joining Indo Semar Records in 2019, he has released six EPs with 30 songs on his YouTube channel, as well as five other singles under Indo Semar Sakti. Most of his works are self-written, sometimes with the help of fellow musicians.

After being inactive for more than a year, SMVLL is now back with his latest single titled "Sebat Aja Dulu", under the same label.

In a statement on Monday (7/10), SMVLL said, "This is my first song after the hiatus, and also the opening song for my upcoming mini album. I dedicate this song to those of you who are facing problems. Remember, life must go on, don't give up."

"Sebat Aja Dulu" tells the story of facing problems calmly and without rushing. This song is inspired by SMVLL's personal experience of being in a long-distance relationship with his wife.

During his journey back to Lampung, he often witnessed people struggling hard yet still living their lives peacefully.

SMVLL was assisted by several musicians in the production of this song, including Deka Algazmi, Pramudito, and Adam Zeins as music producers. The music video was also produced in collaboration with the team from Indo Semar Records.

The song "Sebat Aja Dulu" has been available on various music platforms since October 2024, and SMVLL hopes this song can serve as a reminder for his listeners to stay strong in facing problems.
