Ahmad Dhani Acknowledges Dewa 19's Performance Schedule Decline Throughout 2025

"Dewa's concert, the Dewa show has somewhat decreased because indeed the efficiency of the ministries has decreased. So, Dewa is not as crowded as in 2024," said Ahmad Dhani in the Kemang area, South Jakarta, on Friday (19/12/2025).

Ahmad Dhani explained that the year 2024 will be the peak of Dewa 19's activities due to political momentum and numerous events from the corporate sector. The existence of legislative election campaign agendas (Pileg) and many activities from state-owned enterprises made their schedule very packed at that time. However, the situation has changed this year along with the adjustment of the government's budget.

"Because in 2024, not only the ministries and state-owned enterprises will have many events, there are also campaigns, right, Pileg. So, 2024 will still be the peak of Dewa 19's concerts. Now it has decreased a bit because there is indeed efficiency from the government, it has an impact," said Dhani.

Although the offline concert schedule has decreased slightly, Mulan Jameela's husband ensures that Dewa 19 is not just sitting idle. Throughout 2025, they will remain productive by creating works in visual form. One of their major achievements is releasing a music video resulting from a collaboration with the renowned international musician from the band Mr. Big.

"In 2025, we have a Dewa music video, a new music video with Mr. Big, with Eric Martin and Billy Sheehan, that has already been released. Then there’s a music video for Jakarta, a music video for Kosong, I forgot what other music videos are from 2024-2025," he explained.

Looking ahead to 2026, Ahmad Dhani has already devised a solid strategy to maintain his band's existence in the music scene. Dewa 19's main focus in the coming year is to produce more music video content for their hit songs. This is done to ensure that Dewa 19's works remain relevant and can be enjoyed across generations through digital platforms."In 2026, we will, as usual, make new music videos. As the closing of the year 2025, Baladewa does not need to worry because Dewa 19 will still provide a special performance. They are scheduled to be the main act in the New Year's Eve concert that will be broadcast nationally.
