Aida herself admitted that she had been offered twice before to perform there, even since last Ramadan. But at that time, Aida was still afraid because the spread of the coronavirus in Jakarta was still high. Until finally, she gathered the courage because she believed that her body condition was good.

"Yes, at first I felt confident that my body was in good immune condition and I was also tired of staying at home with no activities. I thought because this is a charity event to entertain medical workers and volunteers, so it should be safe, God willing. Because they know about health, so it should be safe," she recently said.

"Yes, indeed there is no payment for that event. All the participants are medical staff and volunteers, there is no hidden motive, just bored with staying at home with the fear of COVID. Meanwhile, I have been invited several times and it seems safe," Aida continued.

The impact of the corona pandemic is truly felt by Aida, including its impact on her economy. As an entertainer, Aida no longer gets singing jobs and has to clear her schedule for an unknown period of time.

"I can only cry because I am confused about the fate of my children. But luckily I still have friends and family who help. I don't need to be ashamed to talk about my difficulties because that is the reality. One of the reasons I refused to come early when invited to the Altet residence event, besides the fear of COVID, is also because initially Aida didn't have money for transportation," she concluded.
