The vocalist of the band Harum Manis, Sulthon Kamil, is now in the public spotlight due to allegations of harassment against minors. This case first emerged when an X account named @TEWASUSAIPESTA shared several pieces of evidence in the form of screenshots of Kamil's conversations, indicating practices of grooming and manipulation towards teenage girls.

It is suspected that the victims in this case are not just one person, but several minors who have become victims and have begun to speak up on various social media accounts. The victims explained that Sulthon Kamil initiated contact by giving likes to various posts made by the victims on social media. This action led to room chats that culminated in manipulation and sexual requests.

In response to this case, Lamunai Records, as the label representing Harum Manis, expressed solidarity and support for the victims. As of September 10, 2025, the label announced that it has terminated all forms of contracts and cooperation with Harum Manis. Now, Lamunai Records has no affiliation with Harum Manis and Sulthon Kamil.

Not only that, Synchronize Fest 2025 also chose to remove Harum Manis from the list of performers. Previously, the band was scheduled to perform on October 3, 2025, at Gambir Expo, Jakarta. This decision is a statement of the festival's stance against all forms of harassment and aims to create a safe space for everyone. This was conveyed by the Director of Synchronize Fest during a press conference on Monday, September 10, 2025.
