Collaboration of Iwan Fals and Ebiet G. Ade at Pestapora, Release of the Song 'Titip Rindu Buat Ayah'

For Ebiet G. Ade himself, this song is a work born from his personal experiences. He recounts that this song is a reflection of his deep longing for his parents when he had to leave home to continue his education at a young age.

"This song has a very personal meaning because it comes from my deep longing for my parents. Since junior high school, I had to be apart from them for school, and that feeling of longing is what I poured into this song," he said.

On the other hand, Iwan Fals welcomed this rare opportunity with great gratitude and a bit of his characteristic humor. He feels very honored to be able to duet with Ebiet, even joking about their physical appearances which are no longer youthful.

"My joke with Mas Ebiet, this collaboration is like a wide forehead because our hair is both gone. I am truly grateful to meet him in this duet. Alhamdulillah, I am still given the health to sing together," he explained.
