Comedian and music observer Soleh Solihun also speaks about Pestapora 2025, which has become a focal point. Yes, the annual music concert has sparked controversy due to its involvement with PT Freeport as a sponsor, although this has been denied by the organizers. As a result, several performers decided to cancel their appearances.

Through a social media post on Saturday (06/09), the 46-year-old man shared a wise perspective on this controversial Pestapora 2025.

Soleh Solihun initially praised the organization of this year's Pestapora. He, who came on the first day, was amazed by the Friday prayers at the venue led by Rhoma Irama.

"Truly full of stories, this year's Pestapora. For the first time attending a music festival from 8 AM. For the first time praying Friday at the venue. For the first time being led in prayer by Rhoma Irama," he wrote.

On the second day, several bands scheduled to perform chose to withdraw due to disappointment with sponsors who were considered problematic. "For the first time many bands also withdrew because of problematic sponsors," he continued.

Nevertheless, Soleh Solihun stated that netizens should respect all parties. "We must respect the decision of those who canceled their performances. We also need to appreciate @kikiauliaucup and Pestapora who have apologized and acknowledged their mistakes," Soleh Solihun continued.

He then invited all parties involved to make this moment a lesson. "Hopefully, this serves as a lesson for everyone. Organizers should be careful when choosing sponsors. Musicians should also detail matters outside of riders that could potentially harm the collaboration, so there won't be any incidents of feeling deceived by the organizers for inviting problematic sponsors," Soleh continued.

This father of two also urged netizens not to mock bands that choose to continue performing at the Pestapora stage.

"We should also respect the decision of the bands that continue to perform. There’s no need to insult them. Every band has its own considerations. If you really have objections to the event, then just don’t come," he wrote.

Finally, Soleh closed his statement in that post with a reminder for everyone to stay focused on fighting for the progress of the nation.

"And hopefully all this commotion does not make us forget that right now the citizens are fighting to demand accountability from the government and the parliament. Musicians, audiences, and organizers are all citizens," he concluded.
