"Hello, I am Kiki Ucup, the Festival Director of Pestapora 2025. Allow me to represent Pestapora in responding to the current situation regarding the collaboration between Pestapora and PT Freeport Indonesia," Ucup said at the beginning of the video posted on Saturday (6/9) on the official Pestapora Instagram.
"Once again, on behalf of Pestapora, I apologize for our negligence in taking steps to collaborate with PT Freeport Indonesia. We are fully aware of our negligence in collaborating with PT Freeport Indonesia," Ucup continued.
"And based on the release statement last night, we have terminated our collaboration contract with PT Freeport Indonesia. And we ensure that not a single cent of funding has been received from PT Freeport Indonesia. We also ensure that there will be no presence of PT Freeport Indonesia in the implementation of Pestapora 2025," he added.
"And all burdens related to the implications of this incident, regarding the termination of this collaboration, will be the responsibility of Pestapora 2025 and will be our full responsibility," he added.
"Once again, I apologize and allow me to update you regarding the implementation of Pestapora on the second and third days. Pestapora will still take place, but with an updated lineup that has ultimately decided to withdraw from the implementation of Pestapora 2025," Ucup emphasized.
