Anji Makes His Wife Cry with the Song 'Disiksa Rindu'

Kapanlagi.com - After being involved in a drug case and undergoing rehabilitation, musician Anji has started to work again in the Indonesian music industry. He has just released his latest song titled Disiksa Rindu (Tortured by Longing).

Actually, he has already created 15 songs while in rehabilitation. However, he feels that the song Disiksa Rindu represents his feelings the most.

This song tells the story of how someone is tortured by the distance and time that separates them from their loved ones in order to fulfill their responsibilities.

“So, the message of this video and song is that we are busy (working) for someone, but sometimes because of that busyness, we forget to spend time with our loved ones, and many people feel that,” said Anji during a virtual press conference on Friday (14/1).

Anji said that this song is definitely felt by many people, including himself. Therefore, this song also serves as a reminder for himself to pay more attention to his family and loved ones even when busy working.

“To the point of forgetting small things like eating together without holding gadgets and actually that happened to myself. So this is also a personal experience that is also a reminder for myself, motivation for myself oh yeah it turns out that sometimes I forget important things that I should do,” he said.

2. Song For Wife

Anji dedicates this song to his beloved wife, Wina Natalia, and their children.

“Actually, this song can be for my wife, it can also be for the children. It actually has a broader meaning, but if I want to dedicate it to my wife, it's absolutely appropriate. Because she's the closest one to me,” said Anji.

3. Wife Cried

Anji said his wife cried when she first listened to this song. At that time, he sent the song through a voice note because he was still in rehabilitation. According to him, this is the first song that made his wife cry.

“Certainly, my wife (who first heard it) was still (sent) through a voice note. She really likes it because it seems like this is the first song that made her cry,” he concluded.
