Ardhito Pramono Reveals Five Favorite Songs About Jakarta, Number Four Includes Work by Jimi Multhazam

Kapanlagi.com - Singer Ardhito Pramono shared five songs that he believes best represent the atmosphere of Jakarta. In an interview with Kapanlagi.com, he mentioned that his song choices encompass various genres and reflect the diverse dynamics of the capital city. The first song he chose is the legendary work by Benyamin Sueb titled Hujan Gerimis Aje. Then, the second choice falls on the song Konservatif by The Adams.

"In that (Konservatif) song, there are lyrics about Jakarta," said Ardhito Pramono when met in the Kemang area, South Jakarta, Tuesday (19/11/2024).

1. His Own Song

Then on the third, Arditho chose a song from C'mon Lennon J.A.K.A.R.T. A. Next, the fourth song selected is a work by Morfem titled Tidur Dimanapun Bermimpi Kapanpun written by Jimi Multhazam. Ardhito feels this song is very relevant to his personal experiences in Jakarta.

"For me, it feels very Jakarta, because I feel like I have experienced being able to sleep anywhere I can. Because Jakarta is a very comfortable city to sleep anywhere, like in the park, I can fall asleep," he said, while laughing.

As a complement, Ardhito included his own song titled Muda Mudi Jakarta which has just been released. This song, according to Ardhito, involves collaboration with several young musicians like Amel Carla and Rey Bong.

2. Form of Celebration

He feels this song is a form of celebration of the creative and energetic spirit of Jakarta's youth.

"The fifth is my own song, our song, many friends who have collaborated, including Amel Carla and Rey Bong, titled Muda Mudi Jakarta," he said.

"We want to invite the youth to see Jakarta from a warmer and more romantic side. This song is about storytelling, dancing, and alleviating sorrow with loved ones," concluded Ardhito.
