Aviwkila Group Releases Single 'Selamanya Ada' for the Let's Fight Ghost Soundtrack

Kapanlagi.com - The music group Aviwkila, consisting of a married couple Thana Ajeng Purishita and Uki Diqie Sulaiman, released their latest single Selamanya Ada during the month of Ramadan. Released under the label Universal Music Indonesia, this song is included as the Indonesian version's original soundtrack for one of the series titled Let's Fight Ghost, a Thai drama series that is a remake of the Korean drama series titled Bring It On, Ghost (2016). Let's Fight Ghost premiered in Thailand on March 3, 2021, and can be watched on Netflix or TrueID.

"We are both very happy. Once again, we are very happy. Because there are still people who believe in our dreams. People only know us as cover artists, but deep down, we also want to be known for our own work. And we are very happy that Universal Music Indonesia is willing to support us, embrace us, and take Aviwkila further," said Thana on Friday (23/4/2021).

1. Simple Lyrics

The song Selamanya Ada was written by Uki Diqie Sulaiman with a very sweet love theme. Even the choice of lyrics is considered simple, as Aviwkila has done in every work.

This song tells about the eternal love that will always be there, even though limitations or obstacles are real in front of our eyes. But, going through it together will be a miracle to keep loving each other.

"Selamanya Ada tells about the belief that love will definitely win, if everything we experience is overcome together. Because in a relationship, it's not always beautiful and smooth," said Uki.

"The message is, in unfavorable conditions, we must still love each other and walk together, going through ups and downs together. That's basically the story of this song. The distinctive and unique voice, as well as the strong character of Thana's vocal quality, are the perfect combination to represent the musical color in the single Selamanya Ada.

2. Create Positive Works

"Aviwkila's mission is to produce positive works because, according to us, a song is a prayer, its lyrics are a prayer, especially since the song is sung by many people," said Uki.

"So, as much as possible, since we joined Universal Music Indonesia, our hope is to always provide, produce, or create positive works for everyone, with good prayers in every lyric," added Uki.

Duo Thana and Uki started their career in the music industry of the homeland through the talent search event Rising Star Indonesia in 2014. At that time, they still used the stage name 15econds. After the event, in 2015, the name 15econds was changed to Aviwkila with more meaningful considerations.
