Bassis Powerslaves Collaborates with Talented Young Singer from Semarang to Sing Religious Song

Kapanlagi.com - Bassis of the music group Powerslaves, Anwar Fatahillah, has collaborated with a young singer named Charisma Bella Amalia to perform a religious single titled Mohon Ampun. The song was written and arranged by Rizky Mamay. This project started from a conversation between Rizky Mamay and Anwar Fatahillah.

"Initially, Mas Rizky and I often talked about other projects. It turns out that Mas Rizky is concerned about religious matters. He presented a concept, saying, 'I have a song', and I said let's do it. Alhamdulillah, when he presented it to me, I found a singer who is very suitable because she has a strong vocal character for this song," said Anwar Fatahillah on Thursday (7/5/2020).

The song Mohon Ampun was created in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. However, this was not a problem for Anwar, Rizky, and the singer named Bella. Furthermore, these three individuals worked on the song separately because they live in different cities.

"Because the conditions didn't allow me to be in Jakarta, Bella sent me the basic melody, and then Rizky helped with the vocals in Semarang, and we worked on it again in Jakarta. Because if we wait for the pandemic to end, when will it be? Ramadan will be over, and the moment will be lost," said Anwar.

Meanwhile, Bella is a talented singer. In fact, this Semarang-born woman has also participated in prestigious music competitions such as Idola Cilik, X-Factor, and Dangdut Akademi.

Bella feels grateful to be able to collaborate with Anwar Fatahillah and Rizky Mamay. With the guidance of these two senior artists, Bella finally can perform the song Mohon Ampun. This becomes Bella's debut work in the Indonesian music industry.

"I am grateful to collaborate with uncle Rizky Mamay and uncle Anwar, thanks to their guidance and input, I can perform this song well. I am very happy that both of them have a great talent in creating songs and music," said Bella.

"The song is really good, I cried during the recording, maybe because the lyrics are very touching. Maybe when Indonesian people listen to it, they will feel what Bella feels. In the midst of this pandemic, we can reflect with this song," Bella concluded.
