Kapanlagi.com - The band God Bless will be performing at Taman Ismail Marzuki (TIM) on December 26, 2023. The band, consisting of Ahmad Albar (vocals), Ian Antono (guitar), Donny Fattah (bass), Abadi Soesman (keyboard), and Fajar Satritama (drums), will be performing at the Everyday Festival 2023 concert, which will take place from December 21-27, 2023.
This will be the first time God Bless performs at Taman Ismail Marzuki after 50 years. As known, TIM was the first place where God Bless performed after its formation in 1973.
"God Bless has an emotional connection with Taman Ismail Marzuki. We were established in 1973, and in the same year, we held our first concert here," said Ahmad Albar at TIM, Central Jakarta, on Tuesday (5/12/2023).

"Currently, God Bless is 50 years old and Taman Ismail Marzuki is 55 years old. We consider this as a very deep nostalgia. Hopefully, our works for the past 50 years can be accepted," he added.
In addition to presenting music performances, God Bless will also showcase their seventh album vinyl, Cermin 7, which was released in 2016. SAJILIVE CEO, Tirtatinaya Aji, mentioned that this album will be a historical part of God Bless' music journey.
"If I say repeating history. Fifty years ago, born here, played here. Now playing again. That's the Cermin-7 album, their 7th album," said Aji.
"First time returned here. That will someday become a historical object. It's from God Bless giving it to Jakarta to become part of history. We want to take the momentum, that God Bless indeed 50 years is not repeated again. The best," he continued.
God Bless' concert at TIM itself is part of the Everyday Festival 2023 concert series which will take place on December 21-27, 2023. Not only God Bless, this concert will also feature other musicians. There will be at least 21 musicians who will enliven this year-end concert.
